Bad edit for skye

I just feel an overwhelming sense of protection for this girl. When I saw her 14 year old sister nominating, I wondered how many girls her age would have the confidence and guts to face that kind of situation! Their mother should be proud of both of those girls. They are obviously a tight-knit little family...so what if they are loud and laugh a lot! So what if Skye has had botox! FFS... Half the population of women in Australia have had some kind of cosmetic work done or are on diets or whatever to improve their self-image. Does that make them worthy of the ridicule we've seen on this forum and other SM?!

Skye works in a coffee shop! Remember when the $100 was on offer for food (from Katie and Priya) in about week 2 and Skye asked if she could still take the money to put on a loan she has to pay off each month? She is no spoiled brat.

Let's not forget, Skye is now in that house with a bunch of mostly tertiary educated people, some of whom are 10+ years older than her. Kudos to her for getting this far and I hope she takes the title.

I read her bio on jumpin and she isn't a spoilt brat. She's just young and acts bratty .
She said that lots of people come to her house and are shocked because it's just an average little home. Which she even said is her castle (so cute)
I don't like/hate housemates based on their intelligence . And that's why I don't hate Travis.

You can certainly tell, she's very loyal to her Mum, she's always mentioning her, remember when she won the 5K and she kept saying I'm doing this for you mum and then when she wrote her letter to her sister and Mum and said when I win I will take you all on a holiday, do people forget when the game first started and everyone was like 'Skye is so sweet blah blah' that hasn't changed, she is just amped her personality up and people take that to the extreme was she is fake blah blah and the only reason people love penny is because she was Skye when she first entered and if she had been there for day dot, I can tell you everyone would be over her.. Anyway I think if Skye can tone of down a bit and say she is sorry for thinking she has this in the bag she could still win..

I think she has a strong chance, these forums are no indication of who will win, and even though her haters are more vocal, trust the fans who adore her :)

I wanted to point out that she wasn't close to her dad from that article because it makes that person who said they know Skye an even more unreliable source, because either they are talking wack, or her dad is speaking rubbish about his own daughter and that says more about him then her.

Yeah that person has given us no real info about Skye so I wouldn't trust them.. Yeah I hope this forum isn't! Is she your fave. ??
 
I think the loudest and clearest message to come from this Thread is that not ONE of Skye's supporters is claiming she is being given a 'bad edit' in this clip... On the contrary! If and when it is shown on Monday night, we may see it in context.... Then we can see who she's yelling at!!!

I agree with what is being said here about Skye's dad also. Sad that she didn't have a father figure.

Totally agree! I don't get the bad edit thing at all, I seriously laughed at her antics! She reminded me of some old school bb hms, a bit like Vesna when she goes on a rant, I love it!

Something too, I found out last night that one of my daughter's schoolmates sister is a RL friend of Skye and she is allegedly a very nice person; caring, considerate etc. and.. in RL her makeup is NOT as full on as it is has been on the show! lol

From the Skye thread. Sounds like her it's makeup that is a bit nasty - well, we all know that.
