2016 Today I...

I hope not as she was going to drive. She didn't seem or sound drunk.

Not sure what she stole, one looked like a square bottle and red liquid.
Sounds exotic? A fancy liqueur...

A friend here just watched Making a Murderer. I'm a bit scared. Is it exceptionally depressing?

Why are they powerless to stop them? Because they are so brazen? Can a staff member not insist someone be detained? Only the police can detain?

That reminds me of something Adam Corolla was saying on one of this podcasts the other day. Let me clarify, the only reason I was listening was it was a legal podcast about Making a Murderer. He was making some point about if he tried to shop lift, he'd be all careful and look suspicious because he'd be so worried. Yet if he was just walking, didn't think about it. Put something in his pocked, forget about it. He'd get way.

I'm know a guy who works at a liquor land. He's said they'll sometimes notice people shop lift, but are powerless to stop them. They just need to get those people out of the store ASAP. Then call the cops.

He's exactly right. People don't think their body language is a give away but majority of time it is. Legally you are not allowed to search anyone unless you are a police officer & honestly sometimes it's not worth the hassle of stopping someone who you know is ultimately going to get up in your face or violent. I have been punched in the face trying to block a guys path when he was stealing something. I wasn't badly hurt or anything but it was a lesson not to put my personal safety in jeopardy. In the end the store manager hired a few biggish guys to work at the store & they would follow would be thieves around. Pretty much making it difficult for them so they would go somewhere else is the plan for most shops/stores these days. Nothing would surprise me when it comes to shoplifting anymore but some of the professional thieves, they are always one step ahead using new techniques to steal.

Off topic but on topic.. what did you think of Making a Murderer?

Today I met the German Shepherd Dog (GSD) that has been running around town, and was thought by locals, to be my girl. Sure they look sorta similar (because they are a GSD) - but he looks like and is a male, with balls hanging and My Girl looks like Cindy Crawford. Bloody Bitch raids my makeup bag everyday, to get her eyeliner on right and beauty spots on etc. LOL.

I have been told his owners beat him up :( I have NEVER beaten my dog and can't imagine doing so (even though my dog has tried to beat me up)

I am not sure if that is true but, he is roaming around town, following kids and plays with them and they love him and he is gentle. The kids said that He does not go home and sleeps in their front yard, a block away :( How sad is that :( That a dog doesn't want to go home :( My Girl is by my side when I sleep and almost is with me 24/7

I do actually know who his owners are, so I am thinking I might have to go visit them and have a chat. They are indignous locals and well, that mob around here can be pretty angry at us whites and I am serious!

Thinking about it, I really should approach the owners before I go to RSPCA I am really upset. I met this dog tonight for the first time and he gave me love. I love GSDs so much and can give this boy a great loving home, until we have to move. I suppose I am more worried about having to relocate all of us, but he needs stabilty - especially being a GSD and I think my Joy would maybe like a Friend

Today - This issue just made me sad :(

Oh and tonight I was working (like an ozzie does)

Making a Murderer is outstanding, but it will constantly be making you feel a wide range of emotions.

The shops would have a policy to get them out, just accept it as a cost of business.

Shop members can't detain people. They'd be liable for false imprisonment.

Got a little bit obsessed with it. Spending lots of time on reddit following it. It's just insane on so many levels and the people who are on the guilty side make me so angry.

I just finished it & am still in disbelief about the whole thing.[DOUBLEPOST=1453952666][/DOUBLEPOST]

I'm definitely not on the guilty side, however probably a little closer to undecided rather than innocent, but certainly closer to innocent than guilty, if any of that makes sense.

The series is an emotional roller coaster. I haven't yet done ANY research about the cases outside of the Netflix series, which is why I'm not completely convinced. It's very obvious which side the documentarians took, so everything is presented in that light. However perhaps that's just the only way to present it.

What is factually wrong, is the way Dasser's first lawyer acted. What a smug little man!

Even if he did it, there is no way he should have been convicted.

Nothing as of now - I am going to wait a little longer and watch and get feedback before doing anything ......... Got to be careful in a small community and all :(

Yeah, probably not.

I saw on Wikipedia that Ken Kratz said there was a whole bunch of evidence that the documentary left out, but I'm not so sure that even adding those made him look any more guilty.

Kratz is a salesman not a law man.

His massive evidence left out are things that were minor at trial. As well as stuff he never presented at trial but could have. That is how weak it is,.

Hope it went well. Dog's teeth are so important. We give our dogs bones all the time so his teeth stays nice and strong.

My girl gets a roo bone, everytime we visit the Vet. Touch Wood - that has been once a year, so I have to go get one every couple of months!

I used to buy Marrow Bones, but the fat content was too high :(

Melbourne city Square, 6pm, dancing and lesson, free fun.

And, free dancing and lessons in Latin @ Fed Square

Was Home Invaded today, by a Spaced Out Woman saying was wanting to buy one of my window installed Air Conditioners

She just let herself in (the Door was not properly locked and My Dog was at the Beach at the time) and when I heard a noise, I got off the lounge and was confronted by her in my Hallway.

I asked - WHO THE F ARE YOU - Very Loud - Then she said about the buying of the A/Cs and then asked if I was a Squatter LOL

I was so angry, that I think I would have scared a Man.

Long Story Short I walked towards her, with my hands towards her, like both in a STOP way and kept walking at her, until she got to the door. I warned her on the way I will bring up my GSD (that was at the Beach) and she said to me I was a Crazy Woman. I think anyone that enters anothers home is more Crazy!

I opened the door and pushed her out - not sure if she fell down those stairs - and slammed the door yelling I am ringing the cops.

This was at 6.15pm - Daylight! She was Drugged Out and I am not sure if she had any back up, awaiting - but I think, well I hope - They don't come back! God help her and them if they do and Joy is here ...................

Joy came home 5 mins later .............
