BBUK 2025 - starts 28 Sep

Also, Caroline’s comments in today’s ep were pretty fucking awful too.

What is with the transphobia and homophobia this season?!

I'm only up to the first eviction. I'm still giving it a chance because usually I don't get too engaged in the first few weeks of any BB when there's too many people to keep track of.

Agree on the previous comments about politics in the house. It feels really forced and I'm surprised they even chose to air these convos as early as episode 3. I really don't need to hear a 23 year old rattling off the same old GB News / Sky News Australia talking points.

Also this "weufl pack" that has been mentioned fucking hell I hope this doesn't become an ongoing thing. What is it with BBUK and the youngest brattiest housemates forming a high school clique that sucks up all the air time and then implodes into nothing?

Housemate reviews:
  • Emily - Bye bitch 👋
  • Gani - Somehow OTT and boring at the same time, bye
  • Cameron - His purpose is to be a listening post to extract interesting things from the other housemates. Not a fan of this "will they won't they" thing happening with Jenny (they won't).
  • Nancy - She speaks a bunch of languages and that's all I know
  • Caroline - I can tell she yells at service workers
  • Zelah - Nice enough, might coast to the finale and be defeated by JK Rowling's TERF army
  • Teja - She's going to be cute fun but will get into a huge yelling match later on
  • Marcus - Waiting for him to do something
  • Tate - Waiting for him to be something
  • Elsa - We need this 4-day romance with Marcus to end immediately and be replaced by a weekly task where she's required to find ghosts and demons around the house.
  • Sam - Will definitely get into a yelling match later
  • Jenny - Generic house mum
  • George - This walking red flag incel has already sucked up too much air time with his copy/paste reactionary slop. Original wardrobe yet zero original thoughts.
  • Cameron B - Personality of a car salesman. Overconfident yet doesn't know what's going on. I skip forward when he speaks.
  • Feyisola - Will probably end up snapping at one of the right-wing planted housemates.
  • Richard - Something super creepy is going to come out, I can feel it.
That really feels like too many housemates for 8 weeks.

Put someone in the house because they're offensive, chuck them out for being offensive. Should never have been cast.

Also not a fan of them not airing what led to his exit - ITV hiding behind "broadcasting code" again when really there is very little OFCOM won't permit as long as it's in context.

The conspiracy theorist in me feels they had planned for some one to be kicked out as a feature of the season.

The problem with George from what I saw was he had some opinions on stuff and all we saw were people who disagreed but couldn't explain why. Probably because they didn't know why they thought differently.

The most I saw was Caroline trying to explain that homeless drug addicts have issues that prevent them from thinking clearly to access services to help them. Edited to quick to really get a sense on if there was a conversation.

Usually seemed like people annoyed he disagreed with them, stating a different opinion and not an argument. He got nominated by one for being rude for not liking to be interrupted and called a prick to his face.

The show will be less interesting without him.

George was a shallow antagonist contrarian and nothing more. We already have enough of them in all other forms of media. Good riddance, he can go back to his friends on Twitter.

I have to disagree here, based on the episode's depiction about what her intent was by saying "[Zelah]'s a girl!". She spoke without thinking when she was asking a question about having to repopulate the earth with only one other housemate - which Nancy wouldn't be able to do with Zelah. Its important to note that Caroline was, allegedly, unaware of Zelah rephrasing Caroline's question to Nancy to "who are you attracted to?".

If you strip away the intention and context, then sure. But otherwise nah. It wasn't just a random comment that came completely out of left field.
