The Bachelorette 2017

Was it just me, there didn't seem to be any chemistry between them.

Also Sophie didn't let him finish has answer. And she seemed to argue when he did answer a question.

It was very awkward, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if they are already not together. Far from being in love, he comes across as being uncomfortable around her. I never saw any chemistry between them on the show either.

they probably broke up because Sophie realized how many of Stu's family she would have to compete with when the will was read out.

I thought Stu came across very arrogant and cocky and couldnt stand him on the Project

he didnt like that they had said Team Jarrod did he?!

this stuff about a text in the hotel - he repeated the crass bs he told Sandilands - I tend to believe Jarrods version much more than I do Stu’s - but even if Stu was right he’s simply chest-thumping to the media Look at me - I won - Im the stud

no wonder she turned him down the first time they met - any “man” (and lets remember he’s 44 as well) who says “MY DADDY’S got a boat”would be suss in my eyes ... and yes DADDY is the one with all the money ... and Sophie has been quick to point out that she thinks she earns around about the same as Stu does - (and lets face it probably works a lot harder for it too - he likes to flash it around and spend it (but how hard does he actually have to work at earning it )... though not on a carryon bag at the airport apparently ... was that undies, a spare shirt and a phone charger in a plastic bag? i guess we can be thankful he doesnt need condoms

They didnt look to have any of this chemistry that Sophie claimed they had ... but perhaps thats just askwardness given the relative newness of the relationship ... or maybe it hasnt taken her long to wake up and smell the stench of all those dying

I just wonder how Stu feels about Sophies best friend Oscar ... and whether he will be ok with them being such close friends or will try to put a stop to that because he cant handle her being best friends with anyone else. I’d hope that Sophie has more brains that to allow Stu to make waves between her and her friends

I think the chest thumping to Sandilands was so predictable - he’d know that Sophie has a working relationship with him and Jackie and they appear friendly (but i struggle to believe anyone could truly be friends with that slime bucket- every interview quickly slides into muck level probing ) and he’d want his approval[DOUBLEPOST=1509137825][/DOUBLEPOST]

probably because his version of the truth wasnt gelling with hers

if you pause it at the exact moment you can see the dollar signs in her eyes.

I don't know why you keep insisting that Sophie is a gold digger.
If you watched the show, or the interview, or crimmy's post, you would see that she has stated many times that she has her own money and it isn't her motivation.

Jaysus! The stench of all those dying...

Or maybe, having been slandered and speculated upon and had stories made up about them, their relationship status, their fertility status, their motives, Sophie's wrong wrong wrong choice in not picking James, they were awkward, hurt, and nervous - especially in Stu's case - about being interviewed on live TV. I see international pop stars and old rockers who've been doing the rounds for decades get nervous, being human as they are, and awkward on the Project, too.

Jarrod on the Project - came across as sincere, still hurting (fair enough if you really were in love with her you wouldnt just flick a switch and move on - it would take time) and still wondering why and seeking answers by rewatching to see what Sophie and Stu said ... because he’d truly been led on to believe he was the one ... maybe since she knew who she was going to choose she could have thrown a bit of a clue by being reluctant to move to Victoria ... maybe he would have just told her he’d move anywhere to be with her ...

I liked the Studio Ten interview with he and Apollo and Jmes ... that Apollo and James were supportive of his feelings was nice to see

Jarrod obviously still has ill feeling towards Sam and Blake though - cant blame him as they were both total twats ...

Sentiment on instagram and twitter and in comments on DM articles has swung way over to Jarrods favour ... noone seems to hold any hope of this new relationship lasting ... if indeed its actually still real now snd not just an act to save face

WTF was production doing putting them into rooms on same floor (saving money on security staff I imagine) but it was pretty poor taste and totally thoughtless toward Jarrod. Or were they wanting the photos of Jarrod greeting Sophie for the first time since having his heart broken ... enough already I say

they have editted him into a stage 5 clinger desperado - something he’ll always get tagged as in the future ... someone will always label him as a creeper ... if as he says he was on to production trying to manipulate him to do things imagine how much more badly they could have pushed it ... no thought to what it means on the outside of the show

the finale shows always leave me with a bad taste in my mouth ... i hate that one person gets humiliated and then in the days immediatelt after the airing of the show (possibly just as they might be starting to heal somewhat) they have to relive it and rehash it over and over for the media pack ... it just seems cruel and unnecessary to me

I think Farmer Wants A Wife was the show that used to take to home visits stage then the next ep was the farmer knocking on the door of the their chosen one ( might have the wrong show though). Much prefer that ending ... you get to share in the joy of the couple but not trample over the broken hearted

call me a romantic but i prefer only to witness the happily ever after part

just not convinced we got that with this series ... trying to let it go ...

i guess my dying roses pics didnt show up ... bloody ipad lol

i agree with what you say ... but he chased this opportunity to go on the show ... you cant tell me he didnt have or couldnt have made the opportunity to approach her outside of all this if he truly wanted the person and it wadnt that he didnt like the knock back

he may not be all that used to bbeing turned down

i think he won with the “i was broken and you”ve put me together again” speech which personally i found a bit too much to believe

as i also have issue to him repeatedly saying he hasnt been this happy in 20 years whilst also repeatedly saying he didnt open up emotionally out of respect for his ex and “the littlies” ...

20 years wipes out his entire marriage and those daughters’ existence ... he didnt have those words put in his mouth ... he’s repeated them again and again

what i think you dont realise is that his father hasnt got to this point making this much money being an idiot ... so that money is HIS and he will do with it what he wants ... he will protect it as he wants ... he will leave it to whomever he wants however he wants with as many apron strings as he wants - he’ll hVe it all locked down his way

it doesnt necessarily mean Dad’s the golden goose just because he’s loaded

these days because of the high rate of failed marriages people with money tend to put protections into place so that they can be assured a failed marriage doesnt mean half of their fortune flies out the window (i think thats fair enough - as parents you dont get to choose who your children fall in love with and you don’t usually have any major part in the breakdown of the marriage)

I agree. They have practically had no alone time together post show. Also they have both said they have trouble showing emotion so they are hardly going to be all over each other at this point.

Yep, to me they seem doomed. She shut him down on live TV and he seems void of anything resembling a captivating personality suitable for media. All eyes are on him and how he is going to deal with this super messy situation he coveted and now maybe regrets. If they last to an engagement, let alone a marriage, I will be very surprised.

Sophie is only earning as much as Stu (right now) income wise because she sold her soul to be on this show. Otherwise, what else has she done recently to generate an income acting or endorcement wise? The Bachelorette was a job pure and simple. She would not have anything close to Stu's underlying or future wealth. Expect her on "I'm A Celebrity" next.

fair enough ... but she reaches for his hand to hold ... and he puts it up on the Project desk which looked uncomftable and awkward ... but on show for everyone to see

if theyd just simply held hands under the desk ... even really looked at one another and genuinely smiles ... it would have looked less forced

she also has put it out there that they did meet ar least twice in hotels in Sydney since filming ended so they have had enough time to feel comfortable around one another surely ... and you dont profess to be in love with someone and not be sble to show some outward signs - even a touch now and then ... their body language gives out really seperate vibes

i get they are independent people but sopposedly they care for one another - he gives off an air of just caring about himself

on one hand we got Jarrod who was over the top about caring and protecting anf the other Stu who I reckon would throw her to the wolves if it became necessary .... a happy medium would have been ideal

she won Celebrity Apprentive I believe, is often guest or standin host on radio, advertising ... owns her own home (i think they valed it around $6 mil ... she says she can support hersrlf and I believe she can. She doesntcome across as the type to sit back and not work ... HOWEVER there may be a smidgeon of the need for security in her choices - fair enough ... but she put it out there that those werent the things she was looking for in a partner and when peocple started questioning the Stu factor all the good things in his favour seemed to be $$

They made a mockery of Jarrod for 90% of the season, and only gave him two decent non-crazy episodes at the very end, which is sort of shameful as they would have known he reached the final two well before beginning editing. At the end of the day I feel for him because no one deserves what he got, which was led on and dumped like trash after really opening himself up. I know the same thing happened to Matty J but he wasn't made the butt of every joke the entire season. Given what Jarrod copped edit wise he has coped with the media afterwards very well. **claps for Jarrod**

i'm not saying she is a gold digger, i'm just saying it isn't surprising she ended up choosing a guy who came from a rich family.
