The Bachelorette 2017

bloody eharmony!

I figure when all is said and done eHarmony Guy did James a favour. He's walked away smelling like roses. Meanwhile, Stu walks away smelling like a combination of desperation and the tears of his wife and daughters. I almost feel like he's modelling himself on James Packer and Sophie is his budget Mariah Carey. The collateral damage is almost irrelevant.

They're asking some tough questions on The Project. Good on them for asking a lot of the things we need to know!

Also, I was thinking today, if Sophie is good friends with Kyle Sandilands and Sophie had chosen Jarrod, I don't think Jarrod and Kyle would have gotten along AT ALL. Jarrod is super genuine, wears his heart on his sleeve, and Kyles stuck in permanent shit stirrer mode.

Hrrmmm just reading Jarrod's exit interview (https://www.msn.com/en-au/entertainment/tv/heres-how-jarrod-from-the-bachelorette-feels-about-all-those-pot-plant-memes/ar-AAu6Br8?li=AA59yp).

It's nice to see other people (Elise, Matty J) have been in contact with him to commiserate. Then I went on a tangent and thought, on the one hand I think Jarrod and Elise could be a good match, on the other, perhaps they're both too disciplined, focused and competitive, but gee it'd be interesting to get them in the same room together.

On The Project...
Jarrod got a lot of love from the female panelists, they seem to see what we take as clingy and obsessive as lovely and romantic,

MeShell pulls no punches! She totally slammed Sophie's choice of Stu as going totally against what she said she wanted, not a normal down to earth guy but a "multimillionaire with 4 kids and a vasectomy". Stu visibly flinched.

Kyle while interviewing Jarrod, said I love him & both him & Jackie said they felt so sorry for him.

they might have just been acting nice to his face? like they don't want to rub in his loss by calling him clingy?

Georgie and MeShell told him to his face that they were "team Jarrod", and said the same to Stu (that they were team Jarrod) after the break (they were not interviewed together).

They also said that the tabloid stories that Jarrod "heard them" through the hotel walls and texted Stu was rubbish, but Jarrod did text Stu about going for a beer (yeah like that will happen).

I'm not a Kyle fan, but I would distrust that kind of statement from Kyle. I'd see him reeling people in to then put them off side. His approach to interpersonal relationships reminds me of a cat playing with a bird. That said, I only have very surface level impressions of Kyle and I could be completely wrong on that count!

I haven't come across MeShell much till this year, but I have seen some of her social media content as a friend of mine follows her. She seems a pretty kick ass kind of chic and I like her honesty when I do get to tune in to The Project.

I missed the Jarrod bit of The Project, so I will need to go back and have a look :)

that's weird. because from what i've observed and read, women usually don't like stage five clingers.
