TBL Families

My physio put me on squats today. Just as well I love them. I do have some weights at home but prefer the gym. Going up stairs is great, down not so great and as @hooleydooley said, walking is good. Far and fast like normal aren't good for the time being and yes, shift work is a bugger. I am however fitter and healthier than a lot of people I know who are trimmer than me. I do have a 6 pack, it's just floating in a keg :)

hahahahahahahahhhhaaa - a 6 pack floating in a keg is the most CLASSIC statement I have ever heard - Good on you xxxxxxxx

Physio told me that walking uphill is good as the knee is always slightly bent. Downhill it's more straight where my main problem lies. With stairs I have decided to go down one step at a time leading with the left leg so my right just carries through.

Yep straightened knee is where structures can pinch plus that's when the most load is on.
Walking up hill will improve your quad strength which will protect your knee tendons and ligaments.
Will also help your glute strength, which in turn will help your whole lower body alignment.
Did he say anything about vastus medialis obliqus?

As someone who is overweight and possibly due to my height, obese, it's not easy to just stop and eat well. The food habits collected along the way for years and the things that triggered those habits, aren't always just going to go away. I won't watch the show regularly as it's distressing for me. Mind you, I am nowhere near the sizes of these people. Now with my knee issues, due in part to my weight, I am paying for it. I am beginning to get panicky about not being able to exercise. Physio this morning so I'll ask about it. Unless you've done any sort of walking in any shoes of others, it's looking at it from the outside. To be open and transparent I am 156cm and about 92kg.
I think you summed it up best with looking at it from the outside. I do realise this. I apologise for any insensitivity.

A good friend of Incontinentia Buttocks and Biggus Dickus? :) (hopefully you know the Monty Python reference) no he didn't but I will google it and ask him when I see him in two weeks.

Not insensitive at all and I apologise if I was sounding outraged and/or defensive. I wasn't being that at all. I was sharing my side of it. I used to be a bit of a gym junkie and as the gym was at work, I was at work every day of the week, twice a day at the gym. I had a going to work just for the gym meltdown and avoided it for a long time. I do miss my walking though but it tires my knee too much. Enough of me. Bring on the Liberal leadership spill. Going to be tricky for Labor to win the next election though.

Fiona was always a hottie even when she first appeared on TBL pre-weight loss. She looks amazing now.

This is pretty crazy to watch, I've already seen 2 women who weigh 100 kilos more than I do, I'm trying to imagine carrying that everyday. It's sad...

Why do we have to watch the contestants throw up? That's one thing that I hate seeing in movies and on tv. Worse than watching tongues appear in kisses.

I was talking about both of you
Ok, I'll take that. Thankyou, lol.
The other Fiona is absolutely stunning though. I always thought she and Bob had an attraction going on in that series. Hard to believe that Tiffini is married to Ed Kavalee.

Bob the trainer? Pretty sure he's gay. He and Jillian both as it turns out.

Oh man Jillian is so sexy, she can yell at me anytime!!!;)

Haha, ok she only somewhat does it for me but I'm most likely just being picky if I think of the reasons why. One thing is for sure, she and I would never make it as a couple for probably even one day.

Haha yeah she is definitely too assertive for me, but she's hot when she's mad but then so is Michelle LOL.
