Skye Appreciation Thread

Anyone else think skyes actually pretty smart, im not saying shes acting dumb but i feel shes trying to fit that gc stereotype but at the same time very self aware. Its so weird, she really confuses me.

Does anything more really need to be said? Oxygen thief alert. BS fake crying alert! 20yrs old and too scared to approach a bloke she likes, getting the gay guy and her GF to ask him instead? Her arse is pure gold, but once any bloke fucked her he would soon leave. She is too stupid to have a relationship with. Seriously.

Can grown women not be shy about who they like and how they approach them? I don't find anything wrong with how she is acting in the house about Jake ( the fact that she like Jake in the first place is weird, but whatever), every year we hear that the house is like high school a million times and yet people act like the way Skye is acting is wrong. It's not.
 
People need to realise that if shit hits the fan between her and Jake, she can't avoid him for like at maximum the next 10 weeks!
 
I think she's cute...she makes me laugh but she is so naive which can hurt and help her in some ways in the BB House.
 
I actually do feel a little bad for her. Either she's an amazing actress, or she really is just sick of being judged by her appearance. I don't think she's particularly intelligent despite being self-aware - she's probably just one of those naive girls who, because of growing up with less money, always wants to look good to make up for something else she thinks she doesn't have. Plus... she's from GC, lol.

Also I may be in the minority but I want her and Jake to hook up.

I disagree about the early eviction. She is a dizzy , vacuous barbie doll but so far the only housemate whose getting a lot of attention.

I think what she said about just acting dumb because she had learning difficulties and it was easier has to be pretty spot on.

She's only 20 remember. I think she just has a persona which she is smarter then and there's a bit of a struggle between the two. Hence the apparent inconsistencies.

Yeah, I now agree with you on Skye's potential. Only thing that could hinder her chances is Lisa who I cant see having a big fanbase. So if people dislike Lisa enough they may refuse to save Skye in the bargain.

I don't think she is intelligent, but I think she's actually gone into the house with some tactics. There have been several occasions now where she has gained screen time on her own due to doing something by herself: dancing, singing or talking to herself. As Ben did last year with his photos, I think she's playing up to an image in order to create a character for the show to lock onto. That being said I think a lot of it is just her personality too, but I believe she is smart enough to actually put some thought into how she's playing the game.

On another note, do you think what Layla and her brother posted about Skye being a crazy stalker is true? (See the latest news about housemate connections if you don't know what I'm talking about).
