2014 Today I ......

omg thats me! and I came in here to tell you all !

I love you guys :)

today i got engaged! hasnt really sunk in yet haha. poor guy he brought the ring today and was going to hide it until next week (our 5 year anniversary) and do something sweet but he was losing his marbles he was so excited lol I could tell in the car on the way home something was up. then he just says "I can't wait! will you marry me?" and gives me the box hehehe.

its the best ring just a simple solitaire diamond on a white gold band :) its perfect.

the idea of planning a wedding is making me hyperventilate tho so i think i will just enjoy this shiny jewel for a while and decide that later :)

...hey congratulations Energizer Bunny!... haha!... he must have been bursting at the seams... man he would've been nervous lol!... he's obviously a man of good tastes... hence the marriage offer!... again... congratulations!... cheers.

"Today I"... moved more bloody soil for my ongoing renovation of my front garden... I've worked out that I've moved 10 tons of soil in the past 7-8 days and have lost... **Drum roll**... 4.5 kilos from doing it!!!!!!!... (if that keeps happening my keg may eventually turn into a six pack!)... I did ask my sweet darling wife whether I'm looking a bit 'buffed' from it and needless to say she just let out a rather pronounced guffaw of laughter at my suggestion!...

...I've got to move another 2 tons of soil tomorrow and that's it for the heavy duty work in the garden... I've then got to lay 20 square metres of turf and then plant the new trees and sprinkle on some sugar cane mulch... and finally all I've got to do after that is to set up a water feature and it'll all be done!... (thank God!)... lol!... and yes... my body is still angry with me for pushing myself way too hard in trying to get it all done... man I ache all over lol!... (sips on my glass of rum)... aaaaaah!... not so much pain now lol!...

...as I've said before... I've always thought that when you get to retire that all you have got to do is to sit around... pick your nose... scratch your arse and drink alcohol!... boy wasn't I wrong?... lol!... cheers.

Awesome, EB.

I had a funny feeling the exciting news was furry creatures related but my how I got that funny feeling funny, uh, Wrong ! lol. What with recently watching the TV series "The Tudors" I shoulda remembered Roman Catholicism doesn't do divorce all that well, which can make re-marriage a tad difficult anyway.

So, how long is the engagement going to be. 10 years ? After all, you're still WAY too young to be getting hitched !. :)

I gotta ring story to tell too ... but will save it for another day.

It's the least I can do. :-)

Sincere congrats Eb

Ha! That's an understatement. Technically the Catholic Church doesn't do divorce at all.

Pmsl. I believe they got married last year. If memory serves me, it was around the same time I was having the baby, so September. You're out of the loop ders!

Last September woz when LSCP and I were doing the "Princess Bride / Shine on you crazy diamonD / Diving with Manta Rays at Bora-Bora" thang so not surprised to be no where near a loop involving greenazi types :D

Oh, and I'm pleased to report that since then I've had the legs on those trousers properly shortened/taken up. lol.

Heh. Which would prolly explain a presumed change of Religion from Totalitarian "mind everybody else's business, gimmi your money, death to heretics/christians, meh to Israel" R.C.ism to Totalitarian "mind everybody else's business, gimmi your money, death to heretics/christians, meh to Israel" greenazism. ;) :) :D

Yeah, the poor lass ... especially seeing how her LSCP ala "The Craftsman" permanently vacated the flesh the previous month and just one day short of birthday 81.

She did extremely well on all counts ... including organising that lovely cake.

How is numba1? How is lscp?

numba1son is still a qool frood who knows where his towel is. Without sharing too much of what is none of my / our business, he is in a relationship with a lovely older woman (she's but a couple of years younger than LSCP). She is of "Children of Israel" ethnicity which I guess makes number1son her "goy boy" as opposed to "toy boy". lol. They met online / wow-ing butofcourse and she's actually from Newcastle, NSW. She's been over here staying with the lad for the last month. We're not sure yet but she MIGHT actually know our Raven and if so, has supplied chain-maille supplies to her.

Re: "qool frood", he made me lol muchly the other day. You see, he flew over to Sinny the other month during one of his 4 day shift breaks to meet this lovely lass "in the flesh" so to speak. It obviously all went ok coz, as already mentioned, a few weeks later she flew over here.

Anyhoo, when he flew back from that little holiday, for some reason or another he had a little plastic duck in his hand luggage. LSCP and I still don't know why and don't even want to imagine. lol.

When the hostess or captain or whatever made the announcement about everyone please make ready for take-off, numba1son got the duck out and carefully put it in the seat pocket in front of him with its head poking out. When the seat belt sign went off, he then quietly removed the duck and put it back in the hand luggage again.

Same diff for when the plane started the decent back into Pert and the seatbelt sign came on again. He brought out the duck, put it in the seat pocket again and only removed it after the plane had finished taxing..

bwahahahahahaha ... I reckon that is an AWESOME way to stop folk sitting next to you from (a) talking to you and (b) invading your space / taking your arm-rest, whatever.

awesome++ that I appear to have spawned a fellow stirrer/troller. ;) :D

Re: LSCP / Mrs Spatz. She's taken my last name and by doing so continues to make me and my name look far better than I could ever manage

So much so I finally got around to writing a song about her and putting together a rough film clip featuring her too ...

All good with you and yours ? Bubs at kindy and another one on the way yet ? :D

A Newie chick! Must be awesome! We are good, Little T is a delight, makes my heart melt most days, crawling, climbing, being really cool. Big T is ok, he is in the mining industry and the arse has totally fallen out of the industry it's actually quite stressful for many around here but oh well.

I should be going back to work part time in a couple of months and I have zero plans of making little T a brother at all!

Thanks guys, yes actually its really nice to have some lovely news. I have not felt so excited and happy in a long time. Its also giving my mum something really nice to focus on as well, shes helping me plan a little birthday/engagement lunch right now :)

We have decided the wedding will probably be this time next year.. we will be 25 (nearly 26) that is youngish I rekon but not trailer park young. It will be very small and low key probably in someones backyard. I wont be wearing a meringue gown I'll just buy a nice frock from Myer or something, and we have a friend who is into photography so we will just get them to take some pictures. I don't want all that fuss and worry or expense.

We have been planning a trip to america next year anyway so that will now become our honeymoon.

Ooooooooo congrats EB, that is lovely.
How is your Mum doing?
And did you get comfortable accomodation?
Mud is a photographer isn't he, invite him!!!

Apparently you can get amazing Chinese wedding gowns online for less than $100

I think MKR were advertising for people who want their event catered, especially weddings, for one of those challenges;0

Pencils and inks by Eric johns
now out in pre order --> http://westfieldcomics.com/comic-bo...ents-Tales-of-Terror-cover-B--Eric-J/14061524
This was somewhat different to do. The cover is a homage to the old Tales from the Crypt comic books and the colours on those were always garish and somewhat dodgey looking due to the cheap printing used so I was asked to try to match that look but give it a more modern update.... So basically that meant giving a real rough and basic colour treatment using some rather clashing colours (and then get paid to do it!!!) ...
In the printed version I notice they've toned down my red top half and added some ageing to the white bit behind the Zenescope wording which is fine by me.
cheers
Sean
