Me too now, but I still cringe at what I did

It was good to see them all laughing and having fun together tonight anyway and that they've chosen to show us those moments!
Love the first para,100% agree with the second. Her weakness is ed and since she isn't smart enough to see he is bad for her, I'm more than happy to help in evicting him![]()
Wish bb would get off her back and show us more of this. It's like they are trying to get ppl to hate her.
Yeah but I think emotional stability matters to her more cause her ex hurt her so much, Drew and Tim seem a bit more unpredictable to her in terms of their personalities, and she's said that what she likes about Ed is that he's the kind of guy who's ready to settle down and wants to start a family. She said Ed is completely different from the guys she's dated, who were more like Drew and Tim so I think she's expecting him to be more straightforward and committed.
This makes complete sense. Perhaps her expectation that Ed would be more committed and straightforward because he's different is a bit simplistic, causing her all kinds of problems.
I feel so sorry for Jade, because I did what she did with a boy, and now looking back I cringe. I put myself done, embarrassed myself so much, just like Jade. Thinking about it still makes me cringe. Nobody could show me what they saw.
BREAKING NEWS!Does anyone know Tim has a GIRLFRIEND on the outside??You know what is interesting, just read an interview that Caleb gave in a magazine saying he was surprised that Tim made a move on Jade because Tim gave the impression to him that he has a GIRLFRIEND on the outside!I guess Tim's strategy was to highlight Jade and Ed so he comes out of it looking like a underdog seeking unrequited love!!Why didn't Big Brother show that scene when Tim told Caleb about his girlfriend...is it selective editing in Tims favour??
Well yes he has!It was the time when he was asking Ben what his goals or what he wants to achieve in the near future.Ben replied he would love to take his mum to Graceland to see Elvis memorial, whereas Ed replies that the thing he wants the most is to have children.I think that would require him to settle down.Besides in Drews videolog he did say he "isn't in a hurry to get married unless something drastic happens".Interesting - has Ed ever given any indication he's even remotely interested in settling down? To be honest, given Jade's set of criteria of what she's looking for I would have thought Drew was a better fit. I just don't get her thinking at all.

For sure. I think he's saying what many of us have been for awhile although I don't think he's coming from a pure place with this new realisation... more that he's doing damage control after him and his sister trashed Jade and copped flack for it.The key words in Eds brother post is that he needs to be aware of her honest feelings as he is currently fueling the fire.Sleeping in Jades bed last two nights is an example of this.
What were they saying about Jade? If a girl kept chasing my brother, I wouldn't like her much either. However, Ed keeps the physical stuff going with Jade, so of course she's going to develop feelings for him. He's an idiot if he thinks she won't. She's a NICE girl with real feelings and emotions - thus... it's inevitable. Only a robotic girl would be able to do what he's asking for.
Wish she'd just smarten up on this and let him go. Also, she needs to start wearing shorts that cover her arse adequately. Can see up her butt practically in those tiny black briefs or what ever they are.
I have to strongly disagree with the bolded. We're in the 21st Century, the age of 'Friends With Benefits' where women can supposedly have indiscriminate sex without developing any silly notions of romantic feelings for a guy.
And I think this is the deal Ed believes he is signing up for with jade but does not what jade's selectively hearing for reasons only known to herself. Every time Ed acquiesces to her sexual overtures, she interprets that as a small ray of hope to establishing a serious relationship with him.
Who's at fault then? I reckon jade has to wear most of the blame, but that's just my opinion. Ed doesn't realise that jade is still living in a 1950s mindset and I don't think it's fair to put that on him.
If we were in 1950s then I would whole heartedly agree that Ed is a deadset prick for leading her on for his own carnal pleasure. But we're not so jade is the one who has to smarten up or she's in for a lot of pain in the upcoming years.
He is worldly enough to know that she is infatuated with him(bracelet incident)however it suits his gameplan and stroked his ego to continue this fiasco even if she gets hurt. She doesn't have the benefit of consulting with family and friends.Everyone in there has an agenda. Why should Jade take most of the blame in this Ed fiasco? Why is it always the female that cops the flack? She is still young and naive in terms of relationship understanding. The ONUS is on ED as he is 27yrs old, supposedly more worldly and 'wiser' than her,so he deserves more blame as he keeps fueling the flame.I don't know what sort of moral compass this modern world has if it's OK to continue to play with a female emotion even if he is the only one in this relationship that thinks that they're just friends with benefit. If that's the case maybe the modern world should time travel to the 1950s where at least certain moral values exist.
