Question: Would you currently be comfortable with your own young children spending time unsupervised with ... the victim ?
Considering that the victim has had abomination upon abomination heaped upon him since before he could even crawl or gurgle "mum-ma" and has basically been physically and mentally conditioned by vile evil doers to think what was done (things that cannot be undone or taken back) to him over many years is normal, do you think that the victim will have to be under pretty close observation and supervision for many years to come ?
What else was so selfishly robbed from him do you think ?

It is all fun and games until you cause someone to have a mental forum breakdown…
Jam never lose sight of the fact you are arguing with someone you don’t know over something that quite simply doesn't matter. I have behaved badly too. I should have remained quiet regarding your Hallmark Card moment. You were worried about a friend, which is your right. I involved myself in a forum moment which didn't involve me. I need to learn just because I have a strong opinion doesn't mean I need to share it at every opportunity. That is not to say that forum dramatics and pity seeking doesn't make me vomit in my mouth a little, that is just to say I don’t need to share the fact forum dramatics and pity seeking make me vomit in my mouth a little.
I find perspective always helps with coping with forum fury. If the worst thing that happens today is the fact that someone you don’t know, got under your skin, about something that just doesn't matter on a forum – you are still having a good day.
Let’s put this in a bubble and blow it away because at the end of the day, when it comes to this sort of back and forth bickering, there are no winners, just two losers, and for today it is you and me. We are both better than this.

The thing that really amuses me is the whole contrast to the on and off season PM content.
When BB is on, the PM's I receive usually involve calling me a slut, telling me I must be an “unfit mother”, telling me I am an embarrassment to females, to FOAD (which I discovered means fuck off and die) along with the standard hate mail which usually revolves around me being a bully/arrogant/a pig/demeaning/bitch/**** and so on. On average I usually end up with 4 determined hate spruiking stalkers, although thanks to duckie last year, I got to 5.
However in the off season I have discovered a new PM audience who usually start their emails with "you don't know me and please keep this between us but..." which has come as a surprise. I can remember logging on after Unkie Derspaz and I had a forum sword fight and I had 4 PM’s congratulating me! Ha! Same thing happened when kxk and I hit the forum jelly wrestling pit! I had PM’s from people I don’t know saying nice things! I am not used to nice things in a PM!!! And the funniest thing, the bulk of my PM’s come from people I don’t even know and it feels like they are too scared to acknowledge me publicly given that I am forum poison.
I would now just like to publicly announce that I have saved all the PM's in my saved box, so be warned, if you fuck me off in any way YOUR EMAIL WILL GO PUBLIC!! MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! (just kidding) Ha!

Two teenage sisters in Pakistan have been shot dead in a suspected 'honour killing' after a video clip emerged of them dancing in the rain.
(with the stupid burkhas in place, they were not flashing anything, or doing anything other than being kids)
They were 15 & 16........... horrific stories about girls and women being persecuted, tortured, killed, imagine how many tragic stories are covered up?

I've always found that the best way to avoid PM is simply to disable it so that no one other than mods can say anything to ya on the sly. 
"forum" implies a place where conversations are public ... else it would be called a "chat line" wouldn't it ?
Anyhoo, WTH has the time for private conversations with anonymous strangers ?
Meh to "PM" ... though it would seem that wimmin just can't live without it ... dunno if it is because of cowardice or because of the natural female bent to scheme behind the scenes and gang up n do the "mean girls death by a thousand whispers" thang rather than deal with things out in the open.
PM certainly ain't a normal sort of blokey thing to engage in, that's for sure.

Musta come from some sort of oldbie and/or somebody familiar with usenet and online life before the interwubz. That acro never seemed to get as popular with the WWW'n'beyond folk as it was for those of us who had been banging on online about Important Things since the days of 1200 / 75 baud modems and viatel.
