Last movie you saw

Am I the only one who hates Bradley Cooper? He bugged me non-stop in 'Yes Man'. The man has no charisma or screen presence. Total bore to watch. Zooey Deschanel is just fantastic, never seen her in anything and not been completely taken by her.

I just watched Benjamin Buttons.

It reminded me a lot of Forrest GUmp...it got a bit boring in the middle...but I enjoyed it.

I think I'm seeing Marley and Me today.
You must be running out of options when teenage boys are resorting to Romantic Comedies for entertainment. Next you'll be off to Bride Wars.

Actually looking that the guide, there's a serious lack of good wholesome violent action movies this summer.

What is Bride Wars

Anne Hathaway vs Kate Hudson, in a wacky comedy about 2 weddings on the same day.
Something lots and lots of boyfriends are going to be dragged along to see.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

I like my fantasies fantastical, but this film is a fantasy of the mundane. I have a taste for the mundane, I do like reality TV after all, but not when it's dressed up as lamb.

The aging effects were very impressive, to the extent that I felt revulsion for Cate Blanchett. The dumbasses in the sound department forgot to age the voices appropriately though, so the illusion is kind of broken hearing a youthful voice emanating from a geriatric body. In a film with an absurd premise like aging backwards, illusion is a very important thing to maintain.

The film reawakened my sense at the futility of life, and left me with an inordinate fear of becoming decrepit. Thank God for Nembutal.

Well.. it was really good anyway. The ending was sad though.. and people near me cried.

Unfortunately... Twilight.. lol

Haha, Twilight rocks! :D

And why did poor Cate cause you to feel revulsion?

I am going to see this. What's the deal with the reverse aging thing? How can you be born an old fogie?

Currently watching Hard to Kill, with Steven Seagal. I hadn't realised just how bad his movies were.

edit. Just seen how tight his jeans are. Terror has a new name. Tackle Mashers.

I didn't think the characters of Brad & Cate had much chemistry.

Also..Brad had almost monotone dialogue all the way thru...fair enough when he was old...but when he was in his 20's he could have spoken normally.

Yeah, no chemistry. The romance he had with Tilda Swinton was more interesting.

Watched "The Square" with the Edgerton brothers - quite enjoyable and well written
