X Factor 2012

Ah, that one! cheers for that. I didn't think he was all that great really - was not sure why he was chosen to get through apart from his story. he seemed more suited to community musical theatre.
 
I dont like Bella, but Im sure there is a market for her, but I think Nat is ruining her yet again, very frustrating, she must hate it
 
Yeah Carmelo was the worst tonight, bottom 2 for sure. Who else? Maybe Fourtunate, maybe Bella.

I liked Angel, despite the lyrics mishap, which I didn't notice. Samantha was great again.

I found none of them fantastic tonight, Samantha was the best I felt, I just feel theme nights and the judges/mentors dont do any of them favours at all, how about they just find any song that suits the style of artist/artists they will become if they win? simple, no dance or one direction songs for a indie/folk type like Bella, drives me insane

totally agree. The so called mentors are not doing anyone favours with their song choices. Samantha Jade was the best of a bad lot tonight and she looked gorgeous, sang well, and had a real presence. Poor Bella I think Nat is just screwing her over.

How she is still a mentor astounds me, its evident more and more each week she is out of her depth and I think the looks on the other mentors faces really said it tonight. She needs to GTFO

Nat is my least favourite mentor. She doesn't seem to have ANY idea in choosing songs for her contestants. Bella is a prime example but she doesn't do Angel or Shiane any favours either imo.

Totally agree.

My thoughts on Monday night's episode...I'm not as passionate about it as I used to be, I guess...but my thoughts on what I saw:

Bella was terrible; didn't enjoy Angel's performance and yes, she should not have forgotten the lyrics at this stage of the competition (it was evident to me by her mumbling as I'm not a MJ fan and don't know the song); The Collective were too cheesy and retro; Nathaniel was good; as was Samantha; Shiane's diction is appalling and I think she is out of her depth; Fortunate were ordinary; Carmello was a disaster. My favourite was Jason, I couldn't stop laughing...not sure if that is a good thing or not...but I love him.
 
Guy Sebastian has shown his support for gay marriage, citing it as one of the reasons he left Hillsong.
Good on him for that.
 
No one seemed to notice Angel fluff the line "in case I need it when I'm colder" (should be "older")...
Excellent performance though.
 
Bad interpretation of Tina Turner by Nathaniel. Great song and it should have worked, but Guy's reggaefied version sucked.
 
Loved Bella and the Collective. The rest didn't do much for me except for Jason...he entertains me no end.

Shiane shouldn't be there she is too immature and hasn't shown any signs of growth.

Nat is irritating me more every week.
 
Great result Australia. Put the two best singers in the bottom 2 then lose one.

Now Angel is gone the only ones that excite me are The Collective and that shocks me cos I hate "Boy Bands"

Pity we can't have a "mentor" eviction...... Nat is top of that list.

And yay for Bella, Bella fan here. She did very well tonight with that Florence & The Machine song. I'd buy an album if she ever made one.
