i also remember the simpsons at six on ten before even that station got sick of them and now ch 7 have them to fill up the hours.

I sometimes watch that late night slot with....The Office; 30 Rock;Parks/Rec
Do you like 30 Rock? I love Tina, she is a great female role model and best buddies with Amy Poeler - ie Parks lead
 
My stupid boyfriend at the time was in love with the first appearances of The Simpsons on what's her name comedy, ah Tracie Ullman, a crap show
My kids could not watch Simpsons until grown, 2 episodes and they became Bart, such fights as some dumb parents thought it suitable for kids, it is an adult show

Quite a charming comedy starring the always excellent Penelope Keith. Although I could be wrong about Penelope because I haven't seen anything she has been in her acting career. She may have really been in some awful pictures, stuff to do with her dancing on the moon, or a ten hour play on the life of a butterfly. Or even worse a tv show about her starring as a hipster hippie who works on The Project and loves to shop at Aldi. And she also co-owns a nightclub.

But luckily for me I'm not obsessively going over her IMDB page....yet.

Looks like Tintin has found a clue!​
The books are better, but the tv series still hold up plenty well in my humblest of humble opinions. There is more action in tis show than your typical hollywood blockbuster, and the stories actually are there. It's not just explosion after explosion. Which is good because to see that many explosions would be sooo boring.
 
the trees go dancing with the creatures that are the night
the night that knows that it is right that the morning light will be sooo bright.
