They made good, bad, and ugly stuff in the 70s.......I was not terribly interested in movies at the time, more life was about music
I recall being taken to MASH for a school English class.
And Mum would decide if a movie was OK to watch by referring to Catholic classifications......didn't encourage us much
And they just didn't make kid movies back then, lucky to get one a year maybe
Lots of heavy stuff, and lots of stars I didn't like much.....my older sisters took us to stuff with Striesand she gave me the shits.
A lot in these lists I have never seen, a lot of very masculine movies I have never bothered with, Gene Hackman stuff, and gross comedy.
Looking at these lists...............I haven't seen most of them, the ones I have stand out as classic, Deer Hunter, One FlewOver the Cuckoos Nest
Don't Look Now......is brilliant
Apparently has the BEST sex scenes ever filmed. It was very spooky & freaky
It was a first for my older sister and I, we went alone, and walking home...........we freaked out when a guy unexpectedly came walking out of his driveway, we screeched, he screeched and we all ran.
Have only ever watched it that once, I want to see it again now
2 I love from the lists
