He’s obviously struggling a bit and has definitely aged but honestly can’t complain… I actually kind of like it. He’s gone from simply being a conduit for the lyrics to being a physical manifestation of them.

I was thinking he is my age for some reason and though ouch, but I just realised he 58, so yeah he is not looking so bad for 58! I had a holiday fling with a guy who looked like the young him back in the late 90's :)
 
This sound is peak 2010’s EDM Pop but I’ll never not rock out to Electra Heart…. “Ready to be let down, and now I’m headed for a meltdown” speaks to me and so do other lyrics throughout the album.


Change of pace but this is another gem. I love how Marina speaks this intensely deep character in to existence. This song is so much more than just the lyrics and music, there’s this hint of dark humour where she’s half serious and being comically over dramatic about her situation. Again it just speaks to me.

 
If I was a pop girlie this is literally everything I’d want to be. “Don’t bring Cathy she’s a cunt” 💀- I love a bit of self deprecating humour and as someone who’s had several alter egos/catchphrases/nicknames I get it.


 
With the rise in popularity in this kind of music content I’m honestly shocked that we haven’t seen MTV refocus back on music or the emergence of a modern equivalent.

 
I don't watch The Masked Singer (mostly because I can't stand Jenny & Nicole) but this came up on my FYP today and I'm OBSESSED! Teyana is such an underrated artist.
