This entire album is highly underrated. These two are very experimental which is why they’re the two that I go back to the most.


 
Foxes is such an underrated queen… It’s really unfortunate that her career didn’t take off after Clarity but glad she hasn’t stopped making music.


 
Time for a little more Canadiana and honestly you can’t get much more Canadian. Sadly their lead singer died from brain cancer in 2017. He was 53.

Was never a fan of his but I did go to one of his shows here in Calgary with some friends from Uni, dropped some Molly, had a straight girl buy me a drink and try and set me up with one of her gays, ditched after an hours or so and barely remember going to another bar with my bestie at the time, where the bartender took one look at me and said “No” but allowed me to stay as long as I wasn’t drinking. I was such a messy queen in my 20’s 💀.
 
How did this girl grow up so quickly and when did she actually become an indie pop girlie? Her Salvation EP is amazing from start to finish and does a lot with only 7 tracks.
