The "Alan Parsons Project" sounds like a construction site, but also a band I know well from the 80s. Remember "Eye in the Sky" - I think from 1982.

So for once my tastes align with Alkoholik.

I'm right now listening to "Girls just wanna have fun", as I saw Cyndi Lauper on the Today show this morning, and think she's great. Will see her in Sydney end of next week.

One coincidence is enough for one day or you'll get a heart attack. And no I don't like the entire album. If you've read my post carefully I stipulated that the song that the proceeded the Sirius instrumental intro sucked major monkey balls.
 
So...I don't know the entire album, and I don't like "Eye in the Sky". I liked it when I was 12. So you have more in common with the 12 year old GB. Who also liked "Abracadabra" by the Steve Miller Band.
 
^ Same here. It reminded me of so many songs I haven't listened to in ages or completely forgot about. So now I'm listening to No Aphrodisiac by The Whitlams.
 
8 Bit Music.
Last night I downloaded a bunch of tunes from here....

Basically, there's this subculture of people hacking the music chips in old game consoles... ataris, gameboys and so forth, and then composing music with that classic old bip-beep-bop mario bros sound.

It's happy fun electronica. Not something you'd listen to all day, every day, but it made for a nice drive into work.

i really like flyleaf... ive just been downloading a bunch of their songs.. but my fave is definitely 'all round me' her voice is beautiful
