Tony Abbott leadership challenge

I honestly used to like Hockey, but I think it's because when I was a kid he was my local member and would regularly come to my school and he put a picture of mine in his office (well... so he said...), it took me a long time to shake that childhood image and see him for what he is. Later on my local member was actually Abbott, I can't say he won me over as easily.[DOUBLEPOST=1442220534][/DOUBLEPOST]
Maybe so but do you honestly see us going forward with Shorten as PM?

It's hard. Labor is not ready. Not at all

At least if Turnbull wins, Labor might get a rocket up them and make some effort.
But I don't like Shorten as prospective PM.

People are saying Abbott will survive this lol Libs are idiots if so, they might as well surrender the next election.

Hockey is good fun. I remember playing it back in primary school.

I think at this point a change in leadership for the Liberal party is like rearranging the deckchairs on the Titantic.

Expected to be out of 99 votes:

There are normally 101 Liberal MPs that sit in the partyroom, but two — Dean Smith and Michael Ronaldson — are likely to miss tonight’s meeting.

That means there will be 99 votes in the ballot and the winning side will need 50 to claim victory.

“Anything with a five in front or better will do,” a source said of the vote.

They said earlier that Abbott was confident of 45 at least. Turnbull's support was estimated earlier this afternoon as mid 50s, but we'll see if that plays out or not.
