Tim Dormer back in the House

When has that concept been the same? When say Tahan's mum and sister came in and she reacted? When they sent Tully in for Drew and every HM almost shit themselves?

This is it. Like it or not. I mean I'm not sure what else there needs to be said.

We can all pick up our ball and go home (as I wanted to when I realised that there LFs really weren't coming back) or we suck it up. It's not like we're being heard or our complaints are being respected so that should've been the first sign.
The difference is that they never spoke to them.

Yes, it was a gimmick. But this is comparing apples to oranges.

And yeah, we will suck it up, it's all you can do. But if that's the argument you're going to be running with, we may as well just shut down the forum due to a lack of conflicting opinions and ultimately a stop in discussion.

My point was our bitching - even when we seem to have a direct link between @Tim and Mavnotapurist doesn't get us anywhere nor does the many complaints myself and I know others have made to Ch 9, Endemol and Alex himself until Tim called off the dogs. So instead of bitching about what could have been with a group of HMs that I truly don't give a shit about - and it seems no one else does either based on their threads on here - I'm going to hope that this Sunday brings some excitement finally. I've spent too long being on the side of bring back the old BB, respect the premise camp and that has resulted in this anyway so now I'm choosing to see the positive sides.

Exactly. The housemates never spoke to outsiders coming in. I loved those challenges, seeing the housemates emotions in seeing their loved ones and not being able to talk to them after so long. I just think it's alarm bells bringing Tim in so early.

I read somewhere that one of the reasons they bring in loved ones and people into the house in the later stages of the game, is to slowly reintroduce the housemates to the outside word and to adjust. Isn't the whole point being locked away from the outside world?

Yes, isn'acceptance the final stage? We went through denial, anger ,bargaining ,and depression.
I am just not watching. I'm sure they won't miss the overseas viewers. Survivor starts on Wednesday so that's aplus for me.
But I feel a little said because I have fantastic memories of last fall with you guys.

They'll definitely miss the overseas viewers. They bragged about them leading up to launch! However when they can't even engage Aussies then it's a big ask to expect overseas people to be excited. They messed up this season entirely... and for that goes right back to casting and then every decision made after. But I'm excited to check it out on Sunday so Alex got his wish as much as it pains me to say. xo

This entire season has been stunts.

And we're at day 13 of 80.

Do they actually know what they're doing next week? I really don't think so.

They're going to burn out of stunts so fast. And then what happens?

They'll take inspiration from BBUK.

BIG BROTHER: APOCALYPSE WEEK
Not one, not two, but three PAIRS of intruders enter the house. AND THEY ARE ALL FIERY REDHEADS.
A public free eviction, like in BBUK, but not one, not two, but SIX housemates will be evicted. Each pair of intruders gets to choose which housemate pair they will displace from the house. Then, when you think that isn't enough... the arrival of the SEVENTH HOUSEMATE OF THE APOCALYPSE WILL SIGNAL THE END IS NIGH. That's right, on the final day of APOCALYPSE WEEK, HURRICANE TULLY returns to flood the house in SORROW AND DESPAIR, washing away the fires and smoke of APOCALYPSE WEEK with a downpour of TEARS. It's BRILLIANT, BRILLIANT, BRILLIANT!

I kid of course, they'd never let the housemates have the final say on the evictee... oh wait.

Hmmm....it really is becoming a 'big bother'! But here we are! Makes me wonder if the whole ex HM's coming on the forum might also be some ploy to reignite interest...
Yes, of course it is. Why would they show up here just before launch otherwise?

Well them posting here, it's going to make me like the HM's

When the show starts now, my first thought is, how long is this episode going for & when it ends I am happy that it is over.

Previous series, when the show ended, I used to think, that went quick.

That was so believable, V! Love it... The 7 deadly sins!!

What is Tim gonna do anyway? Flirt with the girls, have his Buddy Jake confess his love to Skye and have Priya/Katie, Travis/Gemma and David/everybody fight?
