Fair enough but if you've seen a movie in a cinema in the past say 25-30 years at a minimum and paid your $ to get into that movie then the end user wins because that process is the same whether it's indie film or a big studio one.

Putting @Timdormer in the house as a HM, especially this early on, is a full on stunt. BUT... as a fan of BB and lately more a fan of BBB than the show itself, this is the one chance I and many others have to have someone go in to that house and say what we've all been saying this season about various HMs. How many times have people on here said they wished they could go into the house for even one hour to tell certain people what they're thinking? Now there's someone going in who doesn't do what he's told, has read the feedback on here about various HMs and has no qualms about opening his mouth and saying it. If this season so far is indicative of what Ch 9 is going to serve up then I am ecstatic that at least "we" finally have our say. If he goes in there and is a flop then I'll be straight back in here bagging him out but I don't expect any other channel to come save BB or make it like how it used to be. It died for a reason.

We must remember though: their live updates didn't always consist of photos.
If they did, they could easily blur them like last years.

The whole point of Big Brother, which is social experiment, is to leave them alone!

Just because you want something done, doesn't necessarily mean it's a good thing.

The concept we know as Big Brother is clearly heading into a direction that is completely different. If you like it, that's fine, but I think the point and concern is that most people don't want the format to change.

Then it will go back to what Big Brother is originally about.

Watching a bunch of strangers, placed together, and see how they interact.

The only thing that fucks it up, is that you have an outsider in Tim (yes, he's an outsider) who will most likely influence the housemates during his time there.

Unless you have a ratings box in your house there is nothing you can do to effect anything, the people who do have a box are not as far as I know known to anyone beside Oztam.

We had a Rating Box for a few years in the early 2000s. It was a damn hassle to have to add people when they walked in the room and when they walked out etc - LOL

yeah there would be ways around it to not always show photos etc, if it was going to give too much away. At least let us know some idea of what's going on in the house and make it more exciting to chat about it online and to look forward to when watching the show. the more attached we get towards housemates means more save votes.
anyway I'm just hoping that the pairs was one of the reasons for no live updates, and once the singles start, so do the live updates:)

When has that concept been the same? When say Tahan's mum and sister came in and she reacted? When they sent Tully in for Drew and every HM almost shit themselves?

This is it. Like it or not. I mean I'm not sure what else there needs to be said.

We can all pick up our ball and go home (as I wanted to when I realised that there LFs really weren't coming back) or we suck it up. It's not like we're being heard or our complaints are being respected so that should've been the first sign.
