there is but charities and government departments are exempt, and people doing dodgy things seem to pay little attention. It is always an interesting question to ask when trying to get rid of a scammer though - "I am on the do not call register, so where did you get my details?"

oh, ok. yeah it is interesting how they find your personal details, and quite scary in a way too.
 
seeing so many balloons in shops. if i had my way they would be banned for life. i hates them. i hates them so much!

Yes, I know it's something people release at memorials or funerals but the environmental damage, especially to wildlife is horrendous.

Plus I hate balloons.. I hate the squeaky noise & I hate it when they pop. BAN THESE HIDEOUS THINGS!

That is such a good idea!, ever since i got my number ive been getting calls for somebody else but they dont listen to me and always just call again in the next few days... its gotten to the point where i just disconnect my phone now and plug it in when i need it >.< I'll just start saying "Yeah sure i'll just go get her, hang on" :)

They threatened to take us to vcat (still has an appointment booked for next week) - said we had made no contact even though we had been back and forth via email. As we live interstate now we have weighed up the cost of coming back and agreed to pay half of what they were trying to charge us ($900, down from $1800) They know they would have shit show of winning at vcat, so it is kinda a lose lose scenario. We have made it on the proviso they give us actual receipts/quotes not just the emailed amounts provided - we are still awaiting that info. If we were still in Vic we would be taking it to court.

Thinking that just because she has been a student it means that she is just as experienced as a teacher with 20+ years experience...can only hope she's just trolling them.
 
Digital TV! For the last 5 days, my TV will not pick up the signal, on any channels from around Midnight until 7am

Small town I suppose :(
