Conspiracy theory?Talk about manufactured conspiracy theories..
It will be interesting if any state government choses to invest in smart design buildings like this for quarantining, with future use for other emergencies (natural disaster accomodation etc), and if so who does.

A mining camp won’t cut it: Australia’s quarantine system needs a smarter design
We can do better than building a village of glorified dongas. Smart quarantine can be much higher-tech, and more adaptable for future uses once the pandemic is over.

Is the toilet paper panic buying an Australian idiotic thing only! I remember Kate Langbroek said it didn’t happen in Italy who very early on and hard and long lasting lockdowns.

This article refers to hong kong and germany too
Apparently, Italians don't use toilet paper like we do and in some cases actually discourage the use of it. They rely more on bidets to cleanse their nether regions. Is the toilet paper panic buying an Australian idiotic thing only! I would like to apologise if I have offended anyone with my comments today. Sometimes I should just shut the F up.
Think it’s best if I take a break from here for a little while.
I know NSW will get through this. And I hope it is a short stint in lockdown and gets on top of this outbreak.

But if you feel you need a break fair enough. Take care whether you do or don't take that break.

Yes I don't think you offended anyone. At least you try to explain your views rather than posting very general opposing statements for the sake of being antagonistic.I would like to apologise if I have offended anyone with my comments today. Sometimes I should just shut the F up.

I also think the culture in Australia is more about products/buying things.Apparently, Italians don't use toilet paper like we do and in some cases actually discourage the use of it. They rely more on bidets to cleanse their nether regions.

Like you posting sky news videos?
Some of the Sky videos I post are discussions with different views on issues. People on this forum can respond however they want to them. It's something I post for discussion. You don't even watch the videos so there's no more conversation needed on this topic. You're an online stalker.

I reckon they should have a program where some hotels are subsidised to be built as a proper function built quarantine facility if needed. Designed for a dual role. So they can function perfectly fine as a hotel, but on short notice and minimal to no effort, be switched over. With the quarantine facility central to their design.
Similar to how old Ocean Liners were built with the role of being troop transports and other military-related roles, such as hospital ships in the time of war.
