I would avoid Gold Coast salons in general.
I avoid salons in general but would avoid Gold Coast ones even more. Barber shops are my go to.

Yeah barber shops are great. I go to them once ever six to nine months.
Wow. I go to them like every 6 weeks. The longest I have been away from the barber shop were during the lockdown.
Not all men need to shave daily. It just depends on how fast their hair grows and how dark and thick it is. I can get by shaving every second evening and still look clean-shaven for the next couple of days. How strange to have to shave your face. Seeing as we are on the topic.
And... daily. Obviously from a female person here...
They're popping up everywhere around here but I haven't had good experiences. There's so many I wonder if some are fronts for money laundering. I've also questioned their skills.Yeah barber shops are great. I go to them once ever six to nine months.
I like my hair longish. Though it doesn't grow very fast

As opposed to some guys who shave in the morning and look like they have stubble in the late afternoon.
Luckily standards have shifted in workplaces where a tiny bit of stubble is still considered fine and respectable.

Rocking longer hair since COVID?
I'm trying to strike a balance of slightly longer hair but it's too thick. So it'll be nice and fashionable, thinned out, short where it needs to be. Then suddenly a thick mess that can't be tamed with products. In part because I don't need to style it every day. So it catches up on me. If I have to go back to the daily appearances in an office. I'll probably have to ditch the dream of slightly longer hair or get hair cuts every month.
Still having hair is a blessing though. Women like it although you sometimes get attitude from blad men with chips on their shoulders.
I just prefer barbers because they don't try and make conversation with me. And besides I'm pretty simple in my haircut request so I know nothing bad will occur.

Yes, of course I know that.Hmm. You do know that barbers specialise in men’s cuts rights? Even if your request was so advanced, they’d still most likely do a better job than any regular hairdresser could.
I’ve seen so many that I have basically tried them all in my area. Have had problems with several of them. One of the places I went to the barbers talked to each other and laughed about the customers in a foreign language which was not only uncomfortable but unprofessional.
The place I currently go to is fantastic. Can get a haircut in silence and they do an incredible job. Win/win. Have not had any situation at any store where I questioned their skills yet.
It's all starting again here in Melbourne. Hopefully, we stop it.
I was at one of the exposure sights the hour before the exposure period. Luckily I use tracking on my phone to know I definitely had left. Yet, then I look at my weekend. I was at a very busy beer festival and in a variety of crowded public places. It it is spreading, we're stuffed.
I will me masking up in shops and public indoor spaces again this week.
Hopefully it won't be too bad. Be awful if it was like last year.
As a result a raft of new restrictions will be introduced across Melbourne from 6pm tonight, including:
• Limiting private household gatherings to five people per day
• Limiting public gatherings to 30 people
• Masks will be required indoors for everyone aged 12 and over unless an exemption applies
And over here ... I am hoping we will be finally allowed to open outdoor dining/cafes etc and be allowed to go into shops with an appointment and negative testIt's all starting again here in Melbourne. Hopefully, we stop it.
