...that new Masterchef Ad is so damn annoying with their 'dramatic' voice-overs... it sounds like they're announcing an up and coming Footy Grand Final or an up and coming Boxing match FFS!... whatever happened to the days when Masterchef Ads were all 'bubbly and enthusiastic' with the up and coming new batch of contestants... they way that they are announcing the show makes them all sound up themselves to me... especially George and Garry... grrrrrr!... cheers.

Neither show would take up much of Rove's time, and why can't it continue without him anyway?
He is an independent producer of all his shows, and his company produces a few shows and that hasn't stopped his on screen stuff.

...I've always been a fan of Roves in the past and from memory have never seen him jump from a show that he has been on and has then started a new show and bounced back to the former one before... it seems to me that he doesn't usually stay fixed in one spot for too long and perhaps 'loses interest' and flits on to his next gig that's all... but!... I guess that Adam and Tegan etc could do 'Whovians' without Rove perhaps?... perhaps have Rove in at times for some 'guest spots' if not permanently hosting it again... but yes... that's why I've been thinking that way kxk... also... I would so like to have a chat with either Adam or Tegan one day... wouldn't it be awesome lol!... cheers.

This season of Show Me The Movie will have wrapped up before DW starts, not that Rove couldn't handle doing both.

...well... both you and kxk are giving me renewed hope that it will return again Meglos... I really hope that Rove does continue the show... as you say... he could easily handle both shows if they never clash with each others run... if not... pass the ball onto Adam or Tegan... either could handle the role really well methinks!... so here's hoping eh?... cheers.

I loved that Cal Wilson is a fan. If Rove ever did want to leave, get her in to host. Or Fiona O'Loughlin (don't know if she likes DW but they'd soon convert her).
 
Does it go near your home? Anyway, are you getting out to see stuff, good spirits in large numbers, there was a lovely spirit in Melbourne.

Also, we got up at the crack of dawn to watch the Olympic flame go by, breakfast on the lawn
 
And, like your post about ex posters being precious, I particularly laugh hard when they ghost in and whine about all of our 'crap', same old whatever, and blah, blah...
WTF do they expect us to publish doctorates here??? Not the time or place......they fail to grasp there is still community & soul here, and can go f themselves
 
less than a km from home. i don't like sports, to me they are morally and ethically wrong. disgusting. not as disgusting as porn, but still, quite disgusting and immoral.
 
well, tbh, i was only thinking of one poster when i said that. but anyway whoever says it doesn't leave a good taste on the forum.

I like Games, fascinates me watching bodies of perfection, and how they have such stamina and talent, Africans running are poetry in motion, same with our swimmers.
And pole vaulting is thrilling
Africans killing in track NOW........see them live they are like gazelles....watched a Samoan run with normal people, could not get over how different he is from ordinary souls...he flies, legs so high, past lumps
 
i move my eyes whilst reading the sunday times when i have my breakfast of freshly cut truffles on a gold plate.

Commonwealth Games - my discovery.....women's rugby, it is very watchable, far more than the males
I don't know much about rugby
All I do know, is the women fly.....it is all about running skills, they don't indulge in the male preoccupation of brawling, and not a lot of tackling, they just run like the wind.
 
Oh my, Grant on Feud is on fire, friggin hilarious telling farm tales, he really has found a great place for his talent on 10
