It probably will go further than we realize. It's just a pity they didn't get Jimmy Savile earlier. I don't know about Robert Hughes. I vaguely recall hearing something about him being arrested in London and extradited but can't recall the details.

I tend to agree with the "witch hunt" side of things.

EMILY lister Fabian Socialist Communist Julia Gillard is currently trying to get a similar sort of witch hunt going in order to try and distract from her own failings.

As far as Sir Harris goes, innocent until proven guilty and at the moment I suspect any accusation is likely to be a case of false witness by a hater ... and a hater who prolly supports the far left side of politics.

Sure, a pox on him and us all if he or we are in any way unrepentent sinners, particularly in relation to the evil that is child molestation, but if not, a pox on those who might be trying to bring good people down via the evil that is specifically mentioned in a certain collection of commandments.

In short, "thou shalt not bear false witness against your neighbore", regardless of how annoying you might find one's singing or adverts for British paints.

Jeepers creepers Mr DS, I had no idea he was an apron wearing goat jockey. Not that it means anything but all the crusy old men that have been linked with this investigation are or were.

I am A political but have to agree with you that the catch the half dead priest enquires are politically motivated to try and catch out Tony Abbott putting his foot in his mouth while standing up for his faith. A nice distraction from the union scandal
Anyways if it makes you feel better it dosnt look as though old mate Rolf was into lucerfarian sex magic, not that you would leave your 14 year old daughter alone with him

What investigating cover ups including organizations like the Catholic church are a stunt? / smokescreen? Get real folks they are looking into all sorts of oganizations I think.... And why shouldn't they?

I very much so doubt the former and fail to see a reason to infer the latter at this stage.

I mean, what feminazis and misandric sour faced hand-wringers may declare to be "groping" in this mad PC world was prolly what was typically called "making a pass" and "getting fresh" back in the 50s, 60s, and 70s.

Back then, lasses who got such attentions (including even "stolen kisses") from normal, healthy, frisky young men, typically either responded with the word "fresh !" and perhaps a slap, or a giggle and a phone number.

Whether they slapped or giggled, being female they just luuuuurved the attention, period (especially if the guy was hawt and/or famous) ... though, even to this day, they'll never admit it. :D :p :) :D :D :D ;)

In fact, one of the most scary occasions of that happening was when I was at a certain nightclub on, Hay st or William st (can't remember which. Ummm, Hannibals ?). It was a notorious club for asian gangs and it was in fact a young asian lass who did the "grop" (ala bum grab / pinch) on me as I walked through to catch up with some other girl friends who were playing pool around the back.

I thought I was going to be taken out back and get my throat cut by the asian lads who saw the whole thing. I didn't dare flirt back with the lass, I just smiled at her while thinking "you little witch ... how to get a free grab AND potentially case some trouble and attention for yourself from your young Yakuza wannabees escorts !"

Gotta lol @ how you deem you, your daughter, and your respective friends as being a reasonable measure of "most young girls". :p :)

I'll add to that by saying "your measure certainly isn't my experience"

One example is obviously LSCP, a lass who is 14 year my junior and my partner, companion, closest friend, mate (etc, etc) for over ten years.

Obviously you are yet to admit if not realise that the older a guy gets the more opportunity and choices of female companionship are available to him, whereas the older a woman gets the opposite tends to be true. What is more, it is my general observation that "most young girls" just have to (if not lurv to) compete with each other to "get the guy", especially if it means taking him from another woman, and exponentionally so if it will make them somehow famous and the center of attention.

I, for one, have never "been with", let alone had as a partner (let alone lasting one) a woman older than me.

I never will and nor will I ever need to.
