From what I gather from this thread it's Blair's character died.
And so did 10s breakfast show, last day today, and I think it's a shame. I flick about the morning shows. Love Karl hate 9 & cast, 7 meh, hate Koche & Mel, hate all of their weather dicks.
Anyway, I got quite fond of this funny little show, the 2 hosts were a bit nuts, it just wasn't pompous like the other 2, and the weather reporter is the best.
And 9 picking Ricki - do you reckon that maybe says something about Ben winning BB?
9 are dickheads, sexist and don't seem especially gay friendly?

Agree. I can't imagine the people at 9 going, hmmmm so we had a gay BB winner, lets go & get more gays!
I personally like to think that Ricky was picked for his abilities & star power.
ok season 2 of AHS - I don;t know if I can make it through this season.
First season was great, good build up and story with lots of twists and turns, but this one is just gore so far. I hate torture stuff (thats why I won't watch Saw) and I don't like the same actors playing different parts. It took me a few minutes to recognize Adam Levine. and that evil doctor - he was so nice to that little piggy in Babe
Yeah I found the latest episode didn't really capture my attention, to much SHOCK factor not enough story, I really liked how season 1 intertwined the story, this season seems very scattered, maybe in the final few it will all come together

You must be kidding if you don't think that would be a consideration. And Urban was responsible for a lot of female viewers, he was the most appealing judge for a lot of reasons and this is a BIG show, of course it's factor.
And - he's not exactly a relevant artist, and 9 had a pretty good carrot....Urban got Idol based on how good he was on the Voice & wooed Australia, nice for 9, now they have a spot they can waive about as a booster for come backs/career boosts to lure artists.

Thank god it wasn't Chris Martin. At least Ricky seems to have some kind of personality to back up the eye candy.
I watched Chris Martin on the graham norton show a little while ago & I was suprised that i liked him. I thought he was funny. Can't remember it properly, maybe graham was bringing the best out in him? I tell you what though, I'm not a gwyneth paltrow fan.
Chris Martin is very talented and can be so dry funny, but he is also extremely moody, I dont know how well that would of went down, so Im kind of glad that didn't work out, Also the lead from The Script was approached too and expressed interest in it, I'd say Ricky's name got him over the line though
Oh Gwyneth is awful! No concept of reality, no concept of her place in reality and no fucking idea about real life. Have you ever read her ... thing goop it's so bad it's good. She talks about cute little organic wine bars in - um, Paris I think - nice little kids clothes for eight million dollars. It's just so... Gwenny. She makes me want to slap her.

I don't mind her. But I still think she's a bit wacky and what I called her due to her funny ways about spending lots of money etc.
I think the reason actors like her are so out of touch is they get paid so much...... For what?
Actors are far too overpaid IMHO, but then again they ask for certain amounts and the studios often bend over and let them have their way.

And re Goop, Gwynie, and her Mum too - cannot stand either, they are so far removed from reality they can't act real but can act in weirdo stuff not connected to reality.

I think Ricky is a sweetie, with enormous amount of experience that will be helpful - he was in that kid band, he's been working forever.
Done pop, stage, kid's; and he broke into USA from another country and culture.

I used to hate on Gwynnie like a crazed psycho bitch! Now, I find her really funny - she has absolutely no idea about real people's lives at all. Keep detoxing with your uber expensive blends, Gwynnie, and having your oxygen facials and toning with your personal trainer. Did you know she only lets her kids watch tv if it's in Spanish? Good grief!
I do think she's a good actress, though, with the right vehicle. I loved Sliding Doors, too.
