I still reckon there's got to be more to it. If it was a simple breach of contract thing, I don't know why Tyra wouldn't have said something at panel on the finale show when saying Ange was out. I reckon it has to be something far more negative or dodgy that Ange has done that Tyra/ATMN doesn't want any adverse
publicity about.







Has anyone seen the new promo for The Biggest Loser 2012 yet? I think I'm going to be televisually manipulated into buying lots of Kleenex. *sniff* LOL. :o
 
^^ I have Mia, all good bar the theme song which makes me want to stab myself in the ears.

More hilariously, has anyone seen the ads for Excess Baggage on 9, poor hard done by AJ returns and K Fat Fed is on it too (who got hospitalised the other week cos he is too much of a pussy to handle some outback heat stroke)
 
I have seen it, feels very softy so will be interesting to see what they do.

When is that show on ichi, do you know?

Matthew Newton charged for allegedly assaulting a Sydney taxi driver

TROUBLED actor Matthew Newton has been charged with allegedly punching a Sydney taxi driver in the head.

Police allege Newton hailed a cab in Crows Nest at 10.30 Sunday morning December 4.

”The driver alleges he then became aggressive and punched him in the head," a police spokesman said today.

”The 66-year-old driver stopped the cab and it is alleged he was assaulted again."

The Underbelly star was issued with a court attendance notice after being charged with common assault. He will appear at North Sydney court on January 31.

Newton was once one of the country's most promising stars before public relationship breakdowns with actresses Brooke Satchwell and Rachael Taylor.
 
@ aylaah, nah they are just advertising it for 2012 at the mo. I suspect it may be up against BL though.

Re Matt Newton, he sounds like he is on the path to homeless crazy town. I don't wish that on anyone.
 
Oh man - is anyone here watching Happy Endings?

I am and I am quite enjoying it, just looked up an episode guide and 7 are not even attempting to play them in any sort of order!! Flipping heck now I have to find my own versions. HATE, HATE, HAAAAATE

I just saw this statement from Chris Murphy (his lawyer).

NEWS RELEASE: A court attendance notice has been issued alleging common assault by Matthew Newton on a taxi driver.The film footage taken within the taxi does not show any assault taking place within the vehicle as alleged.

A pedestrian witness on the street who watched close to the incident and heard what was said outside the taxi told police he heard Newton say 'Do you want to attack me' and he saw Newton 'push the taxi driver with both of his hands,he pushed the driver on the chest.

If the matter proceeds in Court it will be defended.There will be no interviews with Mr Newton.
In the meantime I am on holiday with my children and do not wish to be disturbed.

So, perhaps the taxi driver provoked him? Given his (very public) history, it wouldn't be hard for someone to wind him up/set him up?

Will be interesting to see how it plays out.

To anyone who loved This is England and This is England '86 (which I think has aired in Australia now), This is England '88 - a three parter set over Christmas, is airing this week in the UK over consecutive nights. Episode 2 is just about to begin.
 
That is how I feel too Shiloh, or I find them but can't get them from the pc to the TV.

I have one good torrent I will admit, he is called 'my brother' :)
 
chrissy swan is leaving the circle..... oh maybe to go to channel 9? maybe to do something with a big program on channel nine?

I used to think it was all too hard until I got my new TV which has a USB plug :) so now I download to my external hardrive which I can then plug straight into the telly, it's awesome.

oohhhh you know what Eliza, I can plug my usb into the PS3 I think - but then I can't get the stereo sound to work. I wonder if my dvr has a usb plug?
