The Block - Sky High

I'm still watching, which is further in than I've made it before. If the host stays in the background I'll be happy.
 
They showed slapped together rooms yesterday.

Tonight - I don't know I got bored after whiney woman and turned the sound off and went net surfing waiting for QI & Revenge
 
Trixie is such a bad loser! I liked her wooden tiles but the rest of the room was very ho-hum

I get that she is disappointed but she needs to put it in a box and stop sooking. Ffs, there is going to be 1 winner and 4 losers every week.

I didn't like any of the rooms, I am so over the naked dangling light bulb pendant lights and hipster look and am not a fan of red, black and white. The blood splatter room was ridiculous, the twins room was ok but not outstanding all rooms a bit meh.
 
I think the couple who won (and all the family and friends they employ) deserved the win. The crazy, crazy Jackson Pollock room was just stupid.
 
It does seem a little unfair that the local couple have family and friends working for them, they would certainly get more bang for their buck and a lot more loyalty from their tradies.
 
There was a spat over that in a previous season, they have to pay their mate tradies the going rate. But yeah the loyality you can't put a price on.

All of those rooms were horrid. The ones who won was the best but still far from the quality we've seen previous years.
 
If the paint splatter was just on the one wall behind the bed and a bit on the bed, I would love it - there was just too much.
Correct room won. Since that and pain splatter are the only ones that had any style at all.

The rest were dreary crap. And it's a really bad space to do anything with, horrible old square rooms with low ceilings, it's a yuck place.

Now I need to see what House Rules have done, have they revealed yet?

Oh and I hate you Trixie, that room was clashing hideous - and that woman is clashing hideous. And grown women with cutsie names shit me too.
 
That splatter room was HIDEOUS. A feature wall.... maybe. Over the doona and floor? WTF?

I liked the room that won - loved the stripes and the overall feel.

Well I just saw House Rules reveals and they sure shit on any of the Block crap, and a whole house just looks great - wonder if the reno addicts will switch?
But Block ratings aren't about reno people are they, more likely the people who should be on Biggest Loser and dream about getting off the couch one day - and probably need to clear the hording too:)
 
I'm Team Twins and Matt and Kim all the way! The top two floors are driving me to drink. If I have to go to rehab then Maddie and Trixie are footing the bill.

I haven't watched House Rules because I had to limit my must watch viewing. I am still liking The Block, the twins are my favourites and I think they have great style. Don't like Matt and Kim's style much but like them. Maddy and Jarrad are annoying and Trixxie doesn't stop whinging. Poor Bec, I feel so sorry for her, I can't imagine how she managed to carry on but I guess being busy would have helped her.

Oh and I agree, top 2 floors are fake as Trixie and the muppet girl that never does anything even more than the rest do nothings.
And Bec is just odd, I can't fathom how she is there. I like her sort of - but 9 really suck, they should have edited the entire Mum thing out, but I forget it's a soap so they can't.

You watching the reno show on 7? I love it, a whole house each week. And we get to see how others live - and most Aussies live in dumps so we can relate.

Well, whatever it is, it's very nice. It looks like it's designed to hide something - a clever idea for a herb garden.
