Ok, so I saw that last night they showed the finished building, so...

Not loving Trixie and Johnno on the board - my least favourite pair.

And I'm not keen on the red brick at the entrance; it seems to be out of keeping with the rest of the building.

I love the garden walls and I can't wait to see how the rooftop garden turns out!
 
How good does the Units look, I saw it weeks ago, my mate lives around the corner from it.

The are so happy that its nearly all over, cause there neighbourhood will go back to being quiet again. Well they hope, lol
 
They do look great, don't they? I used to live off Park Street when I was younger - it's a great area.
 
Building looks fantastic love the slats and the greenery. I agree re the red brick and Trixie and Johnno. Thanks Jam :)
 
Trixie & Johnno are boring, my least favourite couple is Matt & Kim though.
The finished building looks great.

I like Trixie and Johnno, they are my favs, her laugh however makes my left eye twitch. Like you though, my least favourite are Matt and Kiml (but I must say, how beautiful is Kim?! I think her face is perfect and her body is smokin'! My least favourites are closely followed by the two coppers, they are simply awful and it kills me to say their artistic tastes are brilliant, because I find them so horrid.

I felt the prank was mean, and although general consensus in here is that I am the meanest person in all of Meansville, I hate it when people join together to mock or attack a person in a toxic spirit. I have no problem with one on one confrontation and calling it how you see it, but I don't like it when people secretly join up together to plot against a person and that is how that prank looked to me.
 
I think the twins are hilarious.

I do agree re Kim, she has a lovely face. As for the prank while I agree in the case of the camping one it was a tad too much but it wasn't actually everyone joining in it was just Kim and one of the twins wasn't it? As far as I can gather, they all play pranks on each other and pretty sure Maddy and Jarrad have joined in. Surely all pranks are secrets, otherwise they wouldn't be pranks.

I just checked out the apartments from tictocs links and they don't show the terrace or the foyer which is good as I want to be surprised. For some reason the twins place doesn't look as good in the photos.

I can't wait to never see Trixie complaining again. Love the twins and Kim and Matt.

I think Bec and George are a great couple, what a time to go through losing your mum while being on this program.

Maddie needs to learn to use her grown up voice too!!!!!!

I agree with everything here, symbple! I'm hoping it's the twins or Matt and Kim for the win.
 
I wonder what the body corporate fees are like with the upkeep of those gardens on the outside LOL

I have a feeling Trixie's apartment is going to do better in the auctions, just because it's the Penthouse, and because it has the views. Also because it's so close to the rooftop garden... would feel a bit more like an extension on your apartment than the other levels IYKWIM? Are you allowed to duck up via the fire escape?
 
Apparently lower level apartments tend to go for more than the top level apartments. And the twins do have top quality appliances etc.
 
I think the lower apartments go for less but the reserve is lower so they would have a better chance of making the most. No way would a first floor apartment with no view go for more than a fifth floor apartment with speccy views.

Not sure of the exact figures but you add lots of thousands for each floor you go up in an apartment.
 
Yeah that's what I would have thought. Especially being inner Melbs where that one is. Might not matter so much if you were out in the sticks somewhere.

I've been having a Block marathon catching up on the episodes we missed in Thailand. I know! Embarrassing! I can't believe that I haven't watched previous seasons of The Block. I just love it!

I am loving Alisa, Lysandra, Matt and Kim - they work so hard and have such great ideas. I'm backing one of these couples for the win. All four of them are intelligent, articulate, hard-working, humorous and innovative.

And I want to adopt Keith as my new best friend. Or have a wild night of hanging from the scaffold by my toes tearing his Foreman shirt off with my teeth.
