The Bachelor Australia 2015

I don't know... She appears sophisticated but she does display a more tougher side too. I just don't know

I'll wait for other people's perspective and see how I feel.

I do appreciate her approach just to say no comment though.
I imagine she's not "no commenting" to the ex though ;)

I really hope people dont start critsizing and judging Snezana for this story. Thats extremely unfair to her since it was her ex's mistakes and not hers.

She also has just as much right to be on the show as any of those other women, so its not fair for her to be judged for being a mother.

If she is the winner (as I believe she is) I hope everything works out between her and Sam and that hopefully they can work out the move to Melbourne if thats what they decide to do.

No offence to her ex, but given his history, Snezana could be granted access to move her daughter (although I obviously dont know their situation or how that is decided).

Hi.
New to the forum and admit-tingly been lurking because I love the series.
I'm from Perth and have to comment here because I know about Snez.
Not at all what she is portrayed on TV and unfortunately she has quite the reputation in Perth with men.
I find it very hard to watch because I knew this would come out. Always remember where there's smoke there's fire and she is no innocent party.
Very sad for her daughter but then one has to ask themselves why she'd go on a very public show with her history.
Praying good 'ol Sam is the decent guy he's been portrayed as being and is a better judge of character.
Been a Heather fan since the start but if the producers have lead us up the garden path this will be the last series I'll be watching.
I Just hope that Heather (IF she if asked to leave) holds her head up high and moves on to bigger and better things.

Just 2 things you need to remember...

- she married him after he'd been in jail and was fully aware of the drug issues
- she left him shortly after his accident and after he became a paraplegic

Nothing to make light of and it speak volumes

I knew about her ex being from jail at the start, don't really understand how its relevant?
I also don't really believe any other gossip...it doesn't really match how Snez acts.
I'm also reluctant to believe anything fans of other girls say (particularly Heather, where I've seen people speak with borderline obsession).
PS none of the regs are like that.

People are a bit judgmental.

So how do the family visits work? Does Sam like visit each of their houses and sits at the table whilst a bright light shines in his face? and they ask like lots of questions?

Yep.
Its quite bizarre and I don't really like it.
I think some really grill the Bachelor (I know I would).
Last year Louise's dad was pretty full on

One, you sound a tad too invested in the show with the 'praying good ol Sam is the decent guy...and is a better judge of character", and threatening boycott of the show and using editing for your own obsession for how you think things should be.
Which leads me to two, of course you 'know all about Snez'- I call bullshit! Seems like you are pushing your agenda for your own winner, being heather and again with the tad too invested comments of hoping she holds her head high, and obsessively will shame another woman to do so. 'Reputation with men', what an extremely judgemental thing to say- I hope you're not a woman, because I find that absolutely disgusting shaming another woman.

Snezena has done nothing wrong entering the show. This misplaced blaming is absolute bs! Why should the responsibility not go on the ex for not just saying no comment or the trash gossip magazines, who are both contributors to the affect this will have on snez's daughter. Oh yeah it's all the responsibility of a mother only- no one else should show any competency at all. I don't want to hear about that is how the world is etc etc, it's these things which people should speak up and banish others from holding over another human beings head. What utter nonsense!

Edit: I don't care to be pleasant to a newbie with that type of contribution and rather speak up before other so called newbies think this is absolutely fine. None of the regs here are like that, in fact I consider them open hearted and open minded.

^^^^^ this says it all for me too

The only thing I really care about or I think makes a difference in that story is the part where it confirms Eve's father is still a part of her life. Now obviously given his history I don't think Snez would have any difficulties legally moving her away but morally it's still up in the air. Yes the guy has a bad history but we can't assume anything about what he's like now just on that article. For all we know he's a very good father who will be crushed by losing her and vice versa. There's a lot for Snez to consider.

The level headed one in all of us.

Good point, regardless of what the situation is, they obviously have a bond. And that needs to be considered.

I find it interesting that with all of us, myself included, we tend to focus on the drug and criminal record issue whilst ignoring the more serious problem the husband has. He is In a wheelchair. To me that puts him at a distinct disadvantage over other men. Hence the downward spiral.
None of us know the full story. There are always two sides and then there is the truth.
It will be interesting to see what the other media make of this. Channel Nine will be especially pleased with this gift

Apparently the bachelorette starts Sept 23. I wonder if they have brought the date forward or if this was always going to be the start date. Timing?

Sorry but what does that even mean? All it shows me is that she has been through a lot and deserves to find happiness. She is not responsible for her ex's actions.
It means if things like that have happened in your life you should not go on a TV show unless you are quite happy for all the unsavory details to be published nationwide potentially causing hurt and embarrassment for your family.

I got a whiff during Snez's fluttering eyelash episode with Sam that she secretly might like to escape WA, but that's complete speculation. Its also a fine line to walk in terms of maintaining the potential of a 'perfect life' with Bachie Sam, versus going the other way, feet firmly planted in WA. As unfair and short-sighted as it is, I do believe some people will apply different judgements to Snez versus the others, which is bollocks.

Also, Lana is definitely the surprise package. Seems to tick all the boxes to me on the face of, but there is something very subtle that says if it looks too good to be true, it usually is. I'd like to see what it takes to make her lose it (as in gets upset) :whistling: :angelic: Gonna be interesting regardless.

That I think gives us 4 episodes left,

# speed dating 5 become 4

# meet the families 4 becomes 3

# overnight stays( I think) 3 becomes 2

# meet Sam's family, final 1 on 1 dates and the final rose ceremony

Can't wait!!

It's a really messy situation isn't it? And one I'm not completely comfortable commenting on knowing we only know bit parts of their lives.

I think it's completely admirable that Snez has risked the backlash of her ex's past all coming out to try and find happiness on the show. His bad past shouldn't dictate her future. On the same token though, not having any idea about what this guy is currently like and not wanting to assume, I can see there are huge implications about moving Eve away if she has a relationship with her father.

This is a genuinely difficult situation and makes you realise for the people involved it isn't just a show for light entertainment.
