The Bachelor Australia 2015

That bachelor forum is sharing some good nuggets, seriously though
If Lana is the actual winner....Sam's dumped 1) Perfect Heather 2) Innocent Sarah and 3) Mother Snez...to get her....and was tempted at the first sign! Blake would be loving that, makes him look less douchey

Yeah I think that was what Snez was getting at when she called him out...Sam changing his tune so quickly the moment Lana came in. It was probably a blessing in disguise for the original girls though if Sam did change his tune so quickly because it meant he either a) wasn't that invested in any of the originals to begin with or b) he's the type of guy that enjoys the chase of anything shiny and new (that seemed to be Snez's theory). My gut is still telling me that Snez wins though.

I 100% thought both those pics were April Pengilly. I thought they looked similar on the first night but honestly they could almost pass for sisters.

SHE’S made it through to the final five women on The Bachelor Australia, but Snezana Markoski hasn’t spoken of her failed marriage and the father of her daughter.

It can be revealed her ex-husband, Jason Rapoff, is a reformed drug addict who served two jail sentences, including one while they were together.

But Mr Rapoff, 34, said he’s been clean for five years and is upbeat about life.

He said their one-year marriage ended in 2005, about six months after he broke his back in a dirt bike accident that left him paraplegic.

Their daughter was only two months old at the time.

Mr Rapoff said he blames himself for the demise of their marriage.

“I didn’t cope very well and went into a downhill spiral and pushed all of my loved ones away,” he said.

Mr Rapoff, who works full time at his family’s swimming pool business, said he wouldn’t “badmouth” Markoski, 34.

But he said she was “dreaming” if she thinks she will move to Melbourne with their daughter, now aged nine, to join the Bachelor Sam Wood, if she ends up as the last girl standing on the hit Channel 10 reality show.

Markoski has told Wood she doesn’t “belong in WA”.

Mr Rapoff said he doesn’t watch his former wife on The Bachelor.

“She’s the mother of my child and I’ve got to get along with her for my daughter,” Mr Rapoff said.

The pair married in January 2005, soon after he served 12 months in prison for possession of methamphetamine and two firearms.

He broke his back about six months into the marriage, while riding his dirt bike at his family’s farm in Bindoon.

The former WA Junior Motocross Champion said he went from being a drug “user” to an “addict” after the accident.

He returned to prison in 2010, after receiving a sentence of five years and four months for possession of methamphetamine.

He said he was now reformed and enjoying life.

“I’ve had high highs and low lows but life goes on I guess,” he said.

He was back on a quad bike only three months after his accident.

Mr Rapoff will celebrate Father’s Day by going quad biking with his daughter.

“We only go slow and just putt around and that,” he said.

Markoski issued a statement via Channel 10 on Saturday.

“This is a private family matter and not something I will be commenting on,” she said.

there's something a bit icky about them delving into their past relationships and printing articles - and especially when it may or may not cast a different perspective on the bachelorette involved

Snez isn't the one who has the criminal record ... and why drag all that into the public domain - when he gave that interview and all that information out was he thinking of their daughter at all? was he paid for this interview or did they dig up the dirt and then confront him with it??

her friends at school, the friends' parents - they may not have been aware of all that and this will be great fodder for the gossipy types around the school gates ...

its just gutter journalism :(

exactly! or you've been denied a snag on the barbie Mate - bugger awwwfffff!!!!

they'd appreciate that more than "soz - you don't get a flower - cya!"
The way to a mans heart lol.

Maybe offer the ones who do make each round, allow them to watch a game of footy too lol

So how do the family visits work? Does Sam like visit each of their houses and sits at the table whilst a bright light shines in his face? and they ask like lots of questions?

Not sure how I feel about this. I mean did they go to him about this and he was just naive or did he think talking to the papers about this was no big deal? It's a private matter and should have been left as that. What possible reason is there for this, or is he making a point he is still very much in their daughters life and wanted that to be made clear?

Good point!

This goes beyond delving into a past but directly affects their daughter.

I'm thinking someone dug up the dirt and contacted him for comment ... he's stupid enough to think that by "clarifying" things and giving them more information but saying he wouldn't badmouth her would somehow improve matters? If he had said "no comment" they could only have printed the facts they'd dug up but not fleshed out the article

Regardless of this article Sam's already made his choice and Snez could be the winner ... but if she is - does it all get tarnished now by the past? that's hardly fair

The only reason the article came out is because she is on tv. She had to know this may happen. She has a responsibility to her daughter and family.
Moving on and finding happiness is not normally done on a TV show. Is it?

She has nothing to be ashamed of IMO. She doesn't have the criminal background, and if anything , showcases she has had to be both parents for her daughter at one stage. That only makes her more remarkable
unfortunately people will now question if Snez was ever involved with drugs etc ... and the damage will already be done with the people around them that didn't know any of this ...

although since Snez has apparently always lived within the same 2 blocks (something Sam said when asking if she'd leave WA) I'd say everyone probably does know

when Snez said "I've never felt like I really belong in WA" - THAT was more worrisome to me. I understand as a single mum (and now reading about all this) she's needed to stick close to family but within 2 blocks all her life ... I thought she was well-travelled and quite sophisticated - has that all been an act???

it wouldn't be my choice but I'm not judging someone on theirs - especially not as a result of an article like this

I don't know... She appears sophisticated but she does display a more tougher side too. I just don't know

I'll wait for other people's perspective and see how I feel.

I do appreciate her approach just to say no comment though.
