Survivor 27: Blood vs Water

Kat doesn't really know how to play - didn't she do much the same last time? By that I mean, didn't she think she was indispensable then discover that everyone out there actually wanted to win the game too? That everyone wasn't on team Kat for the million?
lol
I don't like Rupert's wife (don't tell him, he'd likely kill anyone who said they didn't like her) but I think she'll stay around for a while - she's the one you'd want to take to the end... useless, unliked and unlikely to get a vote.
I do like this series (oh, what series don't I like?) but there's not so many to cheer for. Not yet anyway.
I don't like Ruperts wife either...she is so annoying but then I think he is too,not sure what his allure is
Soo disappointed the brothers were split up. Their plan was just dumb post-merge. I think they could have been safe had they not felt so secure.
Isn't that the mistake they always make, feeling too secure? Must be a huge shock for those early players where the game was played differently, which is why Kat and Colton bit the dust so early...nobody wanted to talk strategy
Ciera did not look impressed that her mom got back in the game, she wanted to play for herself.

Yeah, the appeal of Rupert wore off for me the first time he returned, and I didn't warm to Laura at all.
I find the breakup of the brothers alliance a good thing, not because I don't like either of them, just that it can become quite boring & predictable when 2 family members dominate & pick everyone else off. I don't like Tyson or Gervase much as people but at least they are something different & unexpected, relying on pure tactical gameplay.

Tyson is really irritating me. He thinks he has it in the bag - I hope that isn't the case!

I want to slap Tyson with a wet fish evrey time he opens his mouth.

Make sure you roll it in sand first, to make sure the bitch really stings, haha.
This is the first time in many seasons that I haven't had a favourite alliance coming into the all-in merge. I kind of want the brothers to end up the final two, but won't be heartbroken if they aren't.
Anyone but Tyson or Gervaise, really!
I don't really have a favorite at the moment ,I suppose if I have to choose it would be Hayden or ciera
i don't remember half of the favorites! where are they pulling these guys from? ruperts wife looked so different last night, i missed an ep or two and she wasn't featured much until tribal and i thought wtf...is that her!!!!
i loved the stars coming back and boston rob is just to die for but i wish they would just have a season without redemption island and without ex castaways and just get back to basics. The back bone of the show is so good that they don't need any more gimmicks. Two tribes, no food, no water, one island, great reward challenges and immunity challenges and you can't go wrong.
back. to. basics.

Lucky Tyson found it again.Yes, it was a waste, I didn't like to see him use it because he's going to need it later. Soon, probably.
Great tribal council in last nights episode! They usually have all that shit sorted before tribal council but it was hilarious to see Hayden scrambling and Tyson/Gervase stirring him up. Gervase got way to worked up though and even though it was funny when he shut down the jury who were laughing, it could cost him votes. That is without a doubt the best tribal council I have seen in a longgggg time.

People actually watch it on Go?
The 3 Survivor 2013 Hall of Famers were inducted these past 3 days: Kim Spradlin winner of One World, John Cochran from South Pacific and winner of Survivor Caramoan, and finally the notorious villain Jonny Fairplay from Pearl Islands and Micronensia.
They join previous inductees: Pavarti Shallow, Sandra Diaz-Twine, Russell Hantz, Richard Hatch, Boston Rob, Ciries Fields, Ozzy Lusth, Tom Westman, Amanda Kimmell, Ethan Zohn, and Rob Cesternino.
I think they need to change the rules slightly after Kim and Cochran made it in. I think those 2 should be in but not for another 5 or so years because constants need to stand the test of time. I have no doubt there was some recency bias involved with those 2 getting in. It has meant survivor icons like Jerri Manthey, Rudy Boesch, Colby Donaldson ect. ect. have missed out.
So I definitely think there should be a 5 year gap since the first time you played before you can get inducted. And if there has been a 5 year gap since the first time you have played but you have since returned to play for a 2nd or 3rd or 4th time than there needs to be a 1 year gap since the 2nd or 3rd or 4th time you returned and played.

Cochran hasn't yet proven to be a Survivor legend/icon though. He was shit in South Pacific and despite playing a really good game in Caramoan and having a few funny confessionals, what did he do that made him more worthy than others? I understand he has a good storyline being a nerd/fan of the game who improved in his 2nd chance and won the game but he is yet to prove he is a memorable character. Rudy hasn't been on Survivor in 10 years and people still remember him. People were naming their kids after Colby Donaldson after Survivor Australia Outback back in 2001. They deserve to be in the HOF over Cochran for being Survivor icons and being memorable players/characters. Cochran would be a good inductee in 5 or so years time if people still remember him and see him as a good player.I think Cochran is a pretty good choice, but Kim Spradlin is a strange choice, there are many female players who made more of an impact (Jerri, Stephenie, Tina and many others).
I agree with you about Kim because she is another who shouldn't be inducted until she has stood the test of time in 5 or so years but I would prefer her over Cochran because she is imo the best female winner of all time. She absolutely controlled everyone in One World. I agree Jerri and Stephanie ect. should have been inducted before her though.
