Tim was never fully confident he would win, even after Ben was evicted , but Skye clearly thinks the prize is hers even when 7 other people are still in the running to win.
She can't comprehend any reason why people would like David. She thinks that everyone only likes her and should only like her.

She hasn't done anything to really stand out. Tim did.
Overall, comparing Tim to Skye and so on is stupid.

I'm calling it as I see it. Come on you gotta take it a little bit easy on Skye. She's barely out of her teens, not everybody matures at the same rate. And like I've said, I've yet to witness any real malice from Skye towards any of the other housemates which was simply not the case with Tim.

I detest Skye not because she's immature but because she's utterly self-centred, takes any observation about her as "mean" or "cruel" yet is quite happy to dish it out, and her only basis for judging people is whether or not they like her. She has the observational skills of a koala. She pouts, is incapable of taking the blame or accepting when she f**ks up, and turns harmless comments into prime time drama. On top of all that, and even despite it, she's arrogant beyond belief - "I can't believe the winner of BB 2014 is sitting in this chair." I've never wanted to see someone evicted from any series of BB more than her.

I've made it abundantly clear on a number of occassions that I'm not trying to compare Skye and Tim as housemates.

The only trait that they do 'somewhat' share is a tendency to be immature attention seekers in the eyes of a lot of fans of the show and that's what I've mainly focused on in my recent previous posts in this thread.

People are accusing and hating on Skye for being 'fake' and playing it up for the cameras and I'm merely pointing that that is a characteristic that one of the favourite winners of the show had in common with her. However he was not criticized nearly as severely as Skye is this season hence my complaint of the blatant hypocrisy of Skye haters.

The difference is that Tim isn't pretending to be something he's not.

Tim is a strategist. He is a shit-stirrer. He loves to create good entertainment value. He doesn't pretend to be something else.

There have been far worse contemptible housemates who have been truly worthy of scorn, Ben '12 comes to mind, but I think it's utterly ridiculous to include Skye in that discussion.

I get that she's immature and that can get on some people's nerves but so what? Millions of other girls around the same age are far worse in that regard but at least to me Skye has some genuine caring and entertaining personality traits that I find endearing. You don't share that view and that's okay just as long as you don't mistake your own perception of Skye as an objective truth.
