Oh so gorgeous!! Love the healer!!!SO many beautiful furbabies!! Love the stories and names!! For those who posted sad news, I am so so sorry.... and know your pain. Here are pics of my two. Righty is the dark one (we also had his brother: Lefty, who passed from a car). Sunny is the little girl we got for Righty to have a companion. She's a little groomer! Loves to sit on my lap and lick my arm. Then looks up at me as if to say, 'ok, your turn' and I have to pet her or scratch her head, then she goes back to grooming me! lol. The things we love about them!

Sunny also considers herself a "healer" ... Righty needed healing, lol

OMG I didn't even know this thread existed... I'm gonna share my fur babies :
This is our cat, Lavender. Photo taken when she was a baby, and before she developed her bad ( but very funny) attitude. She now considers herself far too special to pose for photos

We also have two dogs, brothers from the same litter. They are Maltese shitzu cross.
This here is Barkley:

And this is his brother, Oliver:

Hey everyone I just was told about this tread (I posted some pictures in the LF thread).
Well this is Tiddles my family found her in our backyard in January 2000 and we guessed that she was about 1 so now she would be roughly around 14.
In 2006 my family moved house and Tiddles ran away then a year later we got a call from the pound and Tiddles had been found in our old suburb (which is a long way away). We were all so happy to get her back.
She mostly stays outside but when she does come inside she is always sleeping on my bed.
I LOVE these stories. <3 I run the lost pet register in Townsville as well as running a home rescue. A year is a long time but it happens. I wish everyone microchipped their pets. <3 So glad you cat came home. I would have been so happy!!

I run a home based animal rescue. You guys are lucky its currently an empty house because the zoo that actually live here is spam enough lol. This is going to be picture heavy guys so get ready haha. -enters crazy animal lover-
Binxy. This very handsome but very naughty boy got himself lost on Friday but thankfully he was found Sunday afternoon and is home safe. <3 I didnt know how attached I was leading up to that, I was a wreck lol

Jelly Bean
He gets his picture with Santa every year. He is a moodle (Poodle x Maltese) and live up to his name lol. He is very wriggly but a very well behaved boy and everyone who comes here comments on the fact. He is also very good with my orphaned babies, even when they try to drink from him lol

Bubby and Kittie
This photo was taken when Bubby was really sick and just before she passed away. Her and Kittie, despite living together for Kitties whole 10 years of life just never saw eye to eye. Kittie was pretty mean and would attack her for no reason (he is an evil cat). But they also loved each other and this picture will always mean the world to me. Bubby was 19 when she passed away, we still miss her every day. Kittie is now 10 and has megacolon as well as other health issues so we dont know how long we have but are making the most of it all.

Kittie Day one after rescue. He was a foster fail (rescue you just cant let leave). <3

He was 6 weeks old and 150 grams (size of a 1-2 week old kitten). He stopped growing at 2 weeks old thanks to an over dose of dog wormer used on kittens too young (some people have no idea!!!). He was surrendered 4 weeks later (not sure why they waited 4 weeks when he wasn't growing!! 2 other kittens died almost right away and 2 others were totally normal). The vets said he had no chance. His fur had no colour and his tummy was transparent, mum was not feeding him much because the others were grown and he just laid in the bed alone waiting for milk). I grabbed what I needed anyway and for 3 days did hourly force feeds with a feeding tube before he could finally open his eyes.

But he beat the odds and the vets said he must have survived on love alone. <3 Of course we were too close to ever consider rehoming so Kittie (by then used to the name) became Kittie and joined the family.
Someone forgot to tell him to stop growing and he is now a VERY big boy of 6.5kg lol

Faith <3
After I lost Bubby I thought I would never love again. And then this little lady came along...

(she is the kitten in the middle on her own). These guys came in at 3 weeks. They were feral but took to me fast thanks to the bonding made by bottle feeding. At 4 weeks old they were wormed as there was a strong reason to believe they had worms (I don't normally worm kittens until 6 weeks unless there is reason to believe they have them because unlike dogs they don't normally get it from mum when born). Faith had a very weird reaction to the wormer and almost died.

Keep in mind that having raised over 50 kittens without a mum, ranging from 1 day old to 6 weeks old I have never lost a kitten. This girl tried so hard to be my first. She was wormed at 12pm. 5pm feed, she wouldn't drink. 7pm feed she was limp and no responding. By 9pm she was comatose. Eyes open, no responses, lost control of bowels. Of course I call the vet but they told me what I already knew. There was nothing they could do other then monitor her and that she is feeling no pain and its better for her to be at home with me but they told me they would meet me in clinic to Put her to sleep if she was in any pain ($250 after hours consult). I kept her with me that whole time. Talking to her, kissing her, shedding my tears. Each time her breathing stopped I said my good byes, crying and kissing her good bye. But each time I did she would gasp and start breathing again. After 4 hours I woke up my hubby and told him I was taking her in to be put to sleep as I couldn't watch her struggling any longer. When I sat down on the end of the bed (the same place Bubby took her last breaths) she woke up. She just woke up and was asking for food!! I have no idea what happened, I cant explain it. She just woke up and she should have been dead. Maybe Bubby gave her back to me, Maybe she just wasn't ready to leave me, I dont know. All I know is I had lost Faith in myself that night, after already losing faith in the magic of love after lsoing Bubby, since losing Bubby I almost felt like I couldnt do it anymore, like she was the magic that kept them all safe and alive (50 with no loses is AMAZING for hand raising kittens). Something happened that night that brought my Faith back to me. Faith in love and Faith in myself and what I am meant to be doing in this world. From that night on she claimed me. Its like she remembered every word, every tear and every bit of love I gave her in those long last moments. I couldn't re-home her and in the end she already had her forever home, right here with me. <3

And for the record yes, she still sleeps on me all the time and snuggles with me every night but thankfully A. Hubby gets her out of bed at 4am for breakfast so I do get some sleep lol and B. I love every second of it and have got quite good at typing with one hand lol
I also have 8 rats but I think I have talked your ear off enough so just a few quick pics.
Zippy.
I got Zippy as a friend for the rescue rat Harper (Black hooded rat in picture), who I had falling in love with and was going to keep but he turned out to be a boy (idiot breeder) So he got de-sexed.

When Harper passed away it left just Zippy.

While in brissy I got 7 new girls and he is now a happy man with a cage full of young ladies lol
Abby, blue hooded

Harpa (name by my son) Black rex with head spot

Zoey (Mink Berkshire with headspot)

Hoot (Agouti Berkshire)

Lexi (Dove Berkshire)

Poppy (Black Varieberk with headspot)

And Snow. Black eyed white, my heart rat, who wouldn't even sit still for a picture lol

I know what everyone is thinking. OMG this chicks a crazy animal person!! It is true lol. But I DO have a life still with a hubby and son who I adore and who luckily put up with my zoo and all the rescues who come though the door. <3

Angel. i think i love you <3
...the rats not so much but you really are an angel
Enough to buy me this?

Haha, but all jokes aside I am not an angel. It helps me to help them so really I am selfish.

And come on, who doesn't love kittens? <3

And the rats are cool. Its been 11 years since I had a rat but when Harper came in as a rescue she was the coolest rat ever and I just fell hook line and sinker. Now its this weird habit you just cant shake... NEED MORE RATS, NEED MORE RATS lol
Angel, I think you get the prize for such a variety of pets/foster pets.
I seem to be noticing more cats than dogs as regular poster's pets though. I love both cats and dogs but only have 2 cats. Too lazy to have a dog right now. We need more pictures of posters' puppies!

Yeah, that was an interesting bunch haha. They were called the kitten clan and were made up of three litters. Lucky for me only 5 were bottle fed, the rest were lapping when they came into care, I couldn't imagine bottle feeding them all at once lol
I try not to have that many litters at once because you tend to have more then one mumma's boy/girl and you run out of space on you for nap time pretty fast haha.

The most I had on the bottle at once was 9. I had a litter of 5 who were 3 weeks when a litter of 4 who were 1 day old came in. The 3 week old kittens were still on 4 hourly feeds and the little ones were on 2 hourly feeds with feeding on demand during the day. So every second 2 hour feed was for them both. Once you feed, burp (yes, you have to burp young bottle fed kittens) and toilet them all the next alarm would go off. Lucky they grow up really fast hey?

I am going to stop now lol. Too much cuteness hahaha
How about I end off with some kittens bottle feeding. They were not due for a feed and had already had a bottle but were very insistent so I caved, as always. <3 Faith is the kitten who drinks second. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10151158600770963&set=vb.206538926051706&type=3&theater

Sorry guys, Faith is 9 months old now and she was my last litter so I am like super clucky. lol <3
I didnt want her to have to share me and wanted Kittie to have some peace while he is sick. I am still glad I did but its still hard. Chief and Copper were in June and were lapping so they dont count.
I love babies.
