I was thinking yesterday about what Tully is doing for employment. Would she be using the term 'self employed'?

Well you are wrong! Ed has a new career in commercial real estate - leasing. Savills is an international company and he uses his Commerce/ business degree to work with clients in property investments. I agree hat some of is posts are vacuous, but so what he loves fashion and the Melbourne food and coffee culture - hardly alone there. Yes he probably likes some limelight - he had that for many years as an AFL footballer, and I suppose you get used to it. But he is clearly distancing himself from the BB experience....didn't comment on this season at all.
Monika is a very successful model in Melbourne, Sydney and New Zealand....she has also worked overseas. She obviously needs to sell an image to succeed....but I don't see her as a wannabe, or trying to be a Tully. Her job is about selling, and she's done well at it, at only 24.
I do understand that at times Ed's posts are questionable, but I do think he shows he is getting on with life after BB.

Declan, I didn't watch a lot of BB this year as I found it very contrived, and with so few hours of content a week and no video streaming, I lost interest early. I also hated them bringing back old housemates - didn't give the new ones a chance to establish their personality. I know the show is always heavily edited, but this year was the worst.
Having said that, in the end I liked Travis the best...seemed very genuine. But really hard to know with the little bit if footage we saw. I think I may be being influenced by him post- BB. Like others, I like reading his blog posts
 
My biggest problem with Ed is actually not him on social media or in the real world, it is the fact that while watching the show he seemed like he was hiding who he truly is. Looking at his SM posts when he got out reinforced that feeling. I felt like he was not secure enough of who he was to show Australia his personality, and therefore he came across as disingenuous and bland, which may not be the case.
BB is a once in a lifetime opportunity, and one I feel the housemates should enjoy to the fullest, and I don't know if Ed was honest he could say that he did fully do.

I don't think he is the only housemate to do that BTW. I can think of at least one person from this year I think the same of.

  • They both spent weeks locked inside a house at the behest of the all mighty Big Brother.

    And that's not all blonde bombshells Tully Smyth, 26, and Lisa Clark, 29, have in common.

    With temperatures on the up the reality TV stars spent Saturday larking around the hipster playground of Sydney's Eastern Suburbs in matching booty skimming hemlines.

    Big Brother would approve! Tully Smyth and Lisa Clark hit the streets of Bondi in booty skimming ensembles as they show off their toned pins

    Strutting down Bondi's Hall Street Big Brother alumni Tully who was one of 2013's most talked about stars, turned heads in a black baby doll dress with sheer, high neckline.

    A pair of cute ankle boots and chunky sunglasses gave the look a distinctly grungy look, echoed by her rock chick darkened roots and silver jewelry.

    Meanwhile 2014's outspoken housemate Lisa showed off her jaunty pins in a pair of ripped, faded denims as she pranced down the street beside her close friend.

    Firm friends: The pair met before Lisa starred in the 2014 Big Brother with Tully reportedly encouraging her to go on the show in the first place

    A pair of strappy sandals with cut out detailing and a white singlet finished her beach chic look.

    The gal pals met while Lisa was working as a retail assistant in General Pants when Tully encouraged her to try out for Big Brother and became her number one ally - staunchly pro Lisa.

    It looks like the girls are as close as ever as they ducked into Le Paris Go for a drink and bite to eat.

    Chatting and laughing together Tully sipped on a coca cola as she showed Lisa something on her phone, eliciting a giggle from her amigo.

    Later they settled down to tuck into their plates of food, affectionately sharing a bite of each other's dishes as they put the world to rights.

    Blogger and TV personality Tully hasn't recently returned from a holiday with another Big Brother comrade Jade Albany and no doubt had tales aplenty to regale Lisa with.

    Tully and Jade kicked up their heels in Fiji sunning themselves on Plantation Island for a week.

    The fun didn't spot there for Tully who next jetted off to the Cook Islands to shoot Sunglass Hut's Summer 2014/15 campaign.

    Meanwhile, Lisa has been seen out and about on the arm of fellow housemate Jake Richardson, who lives with Big Brother's 2013 winner Tim Dormer.

    Rumours of a romance have beset the pair since their time on the show, but so far neither of them have confirmed that they're dating one another.

Wish I could make money doing absolutely nothing but putting a smile on my dial. Lucky biatches . And does that guy with L mean she was neva going out with Wal in the 1st place. for her sake I hope so... It would be serenity afta the madness of hanging round with that guy. He would have done my head in. In the house. I Would have stood behind G, 4 sure:):)

I got to join the lovely off-duty Jetstar hostess with the mostess Kerrie-Ann (and Mark who's camera shy) in row 1 on my flight from Melbourne to Sydney today. She is a massive Big Brother fan and it was lovely to talk to her the whole flight home. As I always say the fans mean everything to me. #Jetstar#bbau
