It does paint sapphire in a bad light and that could not be further from the truth. Some posters are more sensitive than others, and for sapphire, that was breaking point and they lashed out. They would be the first to tell you that it was an over reaction, but it happens. I don't want sapphire to feel inaquate now and leave because they feel posters will view them in a certain way. It was a moment of pent up frustrations of continued mockery that went out of hand.

It's best to use the ignore function sometimes.

I appreciate what you've written but SHE brought it up to have a go at me, so turnabout's fair play, surely? If she wishes to lash out, she needs to own what she's said - just as I have owned what I wrote both in that thread and everywhere else.

[MENTION=1267]torifrog[/MENTION], I don't think you meant harm to sapphire, probably shocked by it all, from what I saw of your comment. Unfortunately it is easy to have comments misinterpreted and people commenting without understanding what lead to a scenario may come across personal- I think this is the case right now. If sapphire reads this, I hope we can just start fresh and not worry about the old thread. Maybe communicating this with you two can help see that this is a huge misunderstanding and isn't more than what it was meant.

I think combination of the old thread lead sapphire to believe that she was being attacked and then you commenting on their post, which seemed out of the blue for them, felt like they were being targeted again. But I don't think that's the case with you at all- just to let you know that. Like I said a huge misunderstanding with old unresolved feelings is the issue. I'm glad you explained your side of things and expressed it was with no intention. Sapphire probably needed to read this to see you meant no harm. :)
 
and it's not the first time, ask poor smurfette. No excuse for threats and vicious name calling.

i'm going to stay away from the whole topic now because it actually scares me.
 
In [MENTION=34626]Sapphire[/MENTION] defence, this thread you are talking about wasn't the first time they had been unnecessarily provoked by the same 2 main posters. When you get ongoing rudeness and unwarranted stirring from the same people, it just becomes irritating and it can feel like you're being ganged up on...

Yes, that is true. That's why I am coming to sapphire defence on this. Everyone has a breaking point.

madonna did do a lot of stirring this year (and that thread was a trash talk Drew and Tully thread, with Drew seeming to be sapphire's favorite HM) and although what madonna said wasn't that bad in that thread I have a feeling sapphire had some pent up feelings about other things madonna had said previously and then sapphire felt attacked when sorceress piled on and it only got worse from there
I hope that we can just let this go because most of the things sapphire has to say are positive
