New Off Topic Thread ..... (Everyone: please be nice)

why would that movie be in my top 50?

it would probably be in my top 10 movies that resemble my writing style.
As the biggest fan of The Princess Bride of this forum I appreciate you recommending another movie to watch. However, what I don't appreciate is the criticism you put in your post regarding The Princess Bride. This is an appreciation thread, you can't criticise in an appreciation thread, no matter how valid the criticism. But that doesn't apply here as The Princess Bride is the most perfect film in the history of cinema. Nothing will be better than that movie. When we reference movies in terms of the time they were made and released we should refer to it as BTPB (before The Princess Bride) and ATPB (After The Princess Bride).

sorry @Affable, couldn't squeeze in Stassi.

You don't put those lists on your dating profiles do you?

giphy.gif

maybe i should re-write my dating profile to include that? yes, that could work. excelllent, excellent. beep boop.

Re males in friend zones - when I was younger and trying to gather nice male friends, I was advised by several....
YOU can friend zone all you like, however every male assesses every female as - rootable no matter how unlikely.
And I then consulted with brothers, and they confirmed the same.

I don't mean to offend @reepbot, but your list reads like some old grannie.
You only mention one movie from this century, and daggy old tv, or kids shows.

Not a single current TV classic makes your list, yet we are living in the Golden Age of TV, puzzling.

It just looks a lot like you prefer anything easily and cheaply accessed?????
And a lot of that old stuff is sexist and racist. Hard to chat about.

If you chat about that kind of stuff, well expect older responses

Have you never seen Bladerunner? Harrison Ford's best ever movie in my opinion.

I think that TV list could attract hipsters thinking retro is cool, but I don't think that really helps.
