Monday Night Live, Tuesday Evictions and Finale Date revealed

Big Brother does well in the demos, which is what matters so hopefully it shouldn't do too badly

That's true, but if I were a parent I would not want my kids staying up to 10pm watching BB.

Which is why the later time with a family-orientated PG rating is such a risky move. Maybe Nine is betting on timeshifted ratings and GO replays (which I assume will be returning) will make up the potential short fall?

I honestly would have thought the launch would have been put on at 7:30 with The Block swapped or held over that night to grab onto more of a kiddy audience.

Big Brother will be airing on Channel 9 for at least Monday to Thursday - there's a new front page article with the details, but as discussed above the OS alludes to there being 6 days of BB each week - that's good!

I just don't think it will be on 6 days a week at least not until after The Block has finished. The Sunday 6.30pm slot could then be up for grabs but I have a feeling they would put David Attenborough documentary's there or some other wildlife thing? I just can't imagine BB on Sunday anymore.

Big Brother will no doubt move back to 7.30pm weeknights then. And that could leave a 9.30pm timeslot open on Tuesday for another season of Late Night Feast. If I recall correctly LNF didn't start until the 6th week of the show last year.

Big Brother could go 8.40 Sundays? They wouldn't have to move 60 minutes, so it could stay at 7.40. They don't really have anything else to air then

Yeah, I hear you. I'm not sure how Nine intend on doing the 6 days a week - either it'll have to involve GO somehow, or, the article on the BB OS isn't entirely correct (e.g. 6 days a week only after The Block is over, like you say).

I guess they could! I see Nine has a movie slotted in there this Sunday.

Ten have been playing wild life documentry's on Mondays and they do not rate well at all. Granted it is Ten, but I do not think Nine will put on a doco on a Sunday night when they have BB.

I'd say if it is 6 days a week, Friday would be on GO. Possibly Sundays as well

I have looked on the foxtel guide and Big Brother won't be airing on GO! at all not even for a replay the same night or the next day.

haha! I'm just being a negative nelly. Nine haven't given me much hope with the way they have treated BB in the past.

Which state/region are you looking at? I haven't found any details on GO's line up beyond Sunday (the 7th).

The rumoured 2-hour episodes seem to be just that, with shows in the first week going for between 60 and 90 minutes. I thought 2 hours was too long for one show, anyway. :) BUT a combination of a later timeslot (now 8:40) and some 90 minute shows mean BB will end at 10:10 on those days! This may have a negative impact on BB's ratings with it staying as a PG show that late in the night.
LOVE the late timeslot.

DISAPPOINTED that they're keeping it PG. (Bad move!)

HATE that it'll revert back to an earlier timeslot.
