Monday Night Live, Tuesday Evictions and Finale Date revealed

Probably just will be the weekend highlights. Doubt we will get a Sunday show this year.

The weekend blackout is going to be even tougher this year. :( :( :(
Why would that need to be live though? And I thought there was room for a Sunday highlights show this year?

No idea. Just a theory. With no shows on the weekend they will have to put the highlights on Monday. I don't think there is a show on Friday either so they will have four days of content (thurs, fri, sat, sun) to catch up on. It also would explain why evictions are on Tuesdays.

Re: Sunday show: They have The Block and 60 Minutes on Sunday. Can't imagine they will put BB at 7.40 and delay 60 Minutes.

But the official site was doing a numbers thing today and said 12 hours footage they need for 6 days a week! :whistling:
That's what caught my eye, the fake live feed goes for 7 days a week so they can't be referring to that. I hope that this is a clue that will be getting 6 daily shows a week. I'm still not sure on how they will fit into the scheduled with the footy show on at 8:30 Thursdays.

Having 6 days again would be amazing!

I wouldn't be surprised if it happens either. It was one of the most complained about issues by fans last year so I doubt it went unnoticed.

yeah.. the Footy Show has 3-4 weeks to go after start of Big Brother cause NRL final is on Oct 5th
I reckon they will put it on GO! for that first month on Thursdays

I think you might be right about that. Survivor will be starting at the end of September, so once the footy show is over BB can move back onto Nine and Survivor can take over BB slot on Go.

They'd be mad not to! Their last attempt at a BB show on GO! (the sunday daily show) was short lived, but it didn't have a lot of promotion and was at a time when not everyone had access to GO! That situations has changed, as analogue TV is no more. Everyone that gets 9 also gets GO (with the exception of some satellite tv customers & possibly hospitals with ancient TV distribution systems)

Exactly wha I thought

The number 12 is interesting.....is this a clue to how many daily shows we will be getting this year? Am I interpreting this correctly?[DOUBLEPOST=1409103853][/DOUBLEPOST]

Not to mention they tried it for only ONE WEEK! That's it. Hardly enough time to give it a proper fair go.

They probably only did it as a one-off for Bradley's birthday party since it was The Bradley Show for the first few weeks.
No, it was intended for the whole series. But like marquisite said, not enough people knew to switch over in time, as well as the fact it was the very first week of BB in over 4 years, the episode just rated really really badly. Then Nine dumped it from then onward.

Well with The Block, the Footy Show and Friday night football (initially at least I believe) it's unlikely they'll have time for BB on Thursdays or Fridays, so hopefully they'll be a Sunday show, but that would need to cover Wednesday to Saturday.

Sounds like this year we are getting even less Big Brother than ever before!

80 days. Only 3 nights (90 minutes each, including commercials) of televised coverage.

Big Brother will be airing on Channel 9 for at least Monday to Thursday - there's a new front page article with the details, but as discussed above the OS alludes to there being 6 days of BB each week - that's good!

The rumoured 2-hour episodes seem to be just that, with shows in the first week going for between 60 and 90 minutes. I thought 2 hours was too long for one show, anyway. :) BUT a combination of a later timeslot (now 8:40) and some 90 minute shows mean BB will end at 10:10 on those days! This may have a negative impact on BB's ratings with it staying as a PG show that late in the night.

I am really concerned for the future of BB, if you look at the ratings for TAR people are not interested in watching reality after 8:30.
Ratings for the TARAUvsNZ
This weeks double episode:
663,000 / 517,000
Last week 18th of August
616,000
11th of August
655,000
4th of August the premier 2 hour episode.
588,000 (this episode started at like 9:03)

I'm predicting around 700,000 for BB.

Big Brother does well in the demos, which is what matters so hopefully it shouldn't do too badly
