Masterchef 2023 - Series discussion

Last night really was a stitch up for Brent - more steak, that's his comfort zone, whereas Declan isn't good at cooking steak and he seems to be intimidated by Curtis Stone more so than the other celebrity chefs.
So unless Brent has a complete shocker tonight in the service challenge, he's in the finale, he got the advantage again. Brent's two weaknesses are 1. Desserts, 2. Pressure Tests, which he hasn't had to do the entire season so far. That is why I think Declan especially beats Brent if they're the final 2 and the pressure test in that finale is as difficult as the promo suggests, Declan's done more of those things in the series.
Rhiannon in my opinion doesn't beat either Brent or Declan if she made the final 2.
 
Jock and Andy worried about Declan...too ambitious!

Bit like me last night with baked beans on toast...I Mastechefed it up though...I added cheese!
 
Rhiannon wasting a lot of potato (and time) trying to achieve fondant potatoes.
I've made them a few times but I'm not really sure they're worth the effort?
 
Yeah Brent, cooking for a crowd is a VERY different thing than cooking for 6 or 8.
 
Entree...Rhiannon...judges loved it too!

I do take my hat off to her for cooking scallops to order.
