Lawson's Second Apology

Mmm hmm.
Just like the not-accident boob flash was right after him talking about candice in the hot seat.

She's vying for his attention. Competing against a woman who isn't even in the house to compete with her ffs. It's insane.

It would be interesting to go back and watch old eps and see exactly when conversations are initiated, when touching is initiated and by who and if it coincides with a mention of candice specifically or gf's on the outside in general.

Unfortunately the heavy editing of the show will mean that we will never know the true extent of Cat's insanity. But Cat loves attention. I bet a part of her was pleased that she and Lawson got caught. I had this crazy opinion that Cat will get it into her head that Skye is attracted to Lawson.

I also noticed that during tonight's eviction Cat and Lawson were sitting apart on the couch, but later they were sitting together. Not that it means anything, but it could indicate that Cat will stick to Lawson like glue or the rest of their stay in the house, and probably on the outside too if they start up a relationshiup in the real world.

Once again, he used his mum's death to drum up the tears. It is a classic acting tool. He isn't fooling anybody and he is only sorry for himself.

Did you not see Cat going rank at Skye because she didn't pick Cat first to be fitted with an outfit? Did you not see that Cat was so immature that she stormed in for attention? She's fucked in the head. There is nothing sweet about her. She is manipulative and self centred. You are welcome to have her as a partner, just be warned the second you leave the room, even to go to the toilet, she will assume you are cheating on her, and will assume that you don't care about her. That's her pattern.

Yep...I have been calling her Crazy Cat Lady for a reason. She is trying to sink her claws in deep...offering promises of facing it all together when they leave. But when he leaves the house...the overwhelming shit storm is going to be too much. He will try to end it. She will freak the #$&% out. Stalking and restraining orders will ensue. "I will not be ignored, Lawson!"...may be stated in the near future...as well as pulling rabbits out of hats and throwing them into boiling water.

She is a stage-5 clinger. That is why she was pissed that Skye took Aisha to get fitted. She thought her and Skye were best buddies in the house and got jealous she wasn't picked. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Cat nominates Aisha this week...if Aisha stays. I would also bet that if Lawson gets evicted before Cat...she will self-evict with him...and use this whole "I promised we will face this together" tactic as her excuse. Although she will be sincere, it is more about her not trusting him to be away from her...than it is about supporting him as a united front. I bet she isn't going to want him to see his ex, talk to her or her family.

Her timid, soft spoken behavior, the tears, the guilt, the profession of feelings...and then love, the pulling away...now I can't be apart, the "oops...my dress dropped", all of it was very calculated. She knew what she wanted and knew how to get it. This isn't her first trip to the rodeo, folks. Lawson is an asshole and an idiot...but he is also young. He was no match for her. He fell into...and is now...fully in her trap. He has no idea what he has gotten himself into. She is going to be his worst nightmare and he doesn't even know it.

She hasn't had to let her crazy show yet in the house. There is no where for Lawson to run or hide...so she hasn't felt threatened. We did get a tiny glimpse when she barged into the fitting room. Now that she has Lawson in her clutches, I suspect the "Sweet and Timid Cat" act will start slipping. We might start seeing "Crazy Cat Lady" take over soon.

Great post. I only hope we get to see more of crazy Cat before she leaves the house. Do you honestly think that she will really self-evict if Lawson leaves before her? Pretty big step, and pretty crazy. But Cat is crazy.

I honestly do. I don't think she will be able to let him walk out...knowing that he is going home and will be seeing his partner. The thought of him with his partner will too much...especially if she can't have any contact with him. She'll need to be able to manipulate, connive and dress-drop at will to make her feel secure and comfortable enough...oh, who am I kidding? She is NEVER going to feel secure and comfortable enough once he leaves the BB house. She is in her ideal environment. He can't run, hide or be tempted by another in there. It is like her very own "love prison". She is going to have a nervous breakdown when he leaves...and then she is going to follow him out the door and cling onto him for dear life.

Well it will be interesting viewing. With reference to the clingy behaviour, in tonight's episode Cat left her dinner to go and comfort Lawson. Even though what he needed was maybe some space. Maybe she is so controlling that she doesn't want Lawson to even think of Candice let alone see her on the outside.

Seriously I feel like I'm at a bloody bible study group or something reading some of the moralising shit here.

He's a man, she's a woman. They have dropped their eyes from the prize money.

And I'm not surprised frankly. $250k isn't what it used to be 15 years ago.

You could buy 2 houses in QLD then with that sort of money. You can't buy one nowadays.

If you don't like what's happened then don't worry about it.

Many love the shenanigans happening and I happen to be one of them.

Close your freaking bibles and let them root if they want to. What's anyone got against watching a good root these days anyhow?
I don't care about they are together I just think it's tacky that he's bringing the ex's family into it

No T no Shade, I think you're absolutely right on the money. Your post made me laugh though.

I felt really sad for him when he was discussing his heartbreak in the Diary Room. Particularly when talking about the impact his actions and choices will have on his ex girlfriends family, I continued to feel sad for him as he refused his evening meal and climbed into bed alone to sob into his doona, and then Cat slinked in for a spoon and I wanted to rip his nuts off and shove them up Cat's arse!!!

It wasn't very convincing. Admittedly, I was eating my dinner. Usually I tear up when someone is sincerely emotional. (I think he meant what he said, but no longer feels it properly. That will come later. It's all so fucked up.)

In Lawson's defence, at least he didn't throw an orange towel over their heads when he and Cat kissed, and think he'd got away with it.

It is clear to me he is someone who really should not drink. I doubt that will become clear to him for a very long while.

Well, if the unaired transcript of what ELSE Lawson said in that second apology according to News Corp is shown to Cat, as part of BB's standard schtick, then we'll probably see your vision of crazy Cat unleashed.

And the level of manipulation that failing to air that footage shows further demonstrates the callous disregard they have for Candice and her family and their intent to create a misleading 'storyline'.

But then, it is Lawson, and anything that comes out of his mouth is questionable.

I wasted a good sip of wine when I witnessed Lawson's 2nd feigned apology last night as it flew out my nose when he starte crying.. AGAIN! He should have said if anything.. "sorry for thinking with my dick, but I can't help it, I am 23." At least there would have been an element of honesty to it.

A sober Lawson has unresolved feelings for and issues with Candice. The two of them need to sit down in private after he leaves the house and work all this out, for better or worse.
This is the problem, there is no finality to their relationship.

The apology reads better in print than it sounded on TV.

The delivery by Lawson was woeful and smacked abundantly of insincerity.

I think the producers have a lot to answer in Lawson's selection past psychological screening etc.

I feel they were fooled by the novelty of his magic show and discounted too much his relationship issues at the time of lockdown.
