@aquanove - you did a great job with the video and the editing on the magazine cover. It's definitely not something I could do so kudos to you for that. I'm just not a massive Ed fan but I appreciate all the work you put in with all of that.

As you can see we're a JADE appreciation page, so forgive us if at times we aren't as complimentary to the whole JadEd thing if we feel that Jade is bearing the brunt of things - and sometimes yes this involves some commentary about Ed. But in the end the whole thing is in good fun and we want nothing but the absolute best for the beautiful Jade.

Do I find some of the comments on twitter when you talk directly to the housemates asking for a response weird? Yes, but you probably find us weird too, so all good.

We're all posting because we want to support those we like so pop in an say hi next time if you like :)

In my case too! At times it's been known to get intense on here but my favourite times are when we laugh, joke around with each other and share our thoughts and speculations.
 
I am a Jade fan from the uk. I would like to see her work things out with Ed as she really does like him. I have always had doubts about the way he feels about her. At the moment I am of the opinion that he is dating Boog, as he always seem to be with her out and about in Melbourne, I know they both live there but in the house he did not seem to get along that well with her but now that they are out he is with her all the time. I feel that this is not fair on Jade to see him with her all the time and I wish Jade could see him for what he is and move on and find someone better for her.
 
Thanks aurora and Gemini. I have been waiting for the "reply to thread" option to work, but it is still waiting to refresh. aurora, I am happy that I decided to join.
Gemini, I certainly didn't mind voting because I thought Jade deserved it, but luck was on my side. I had some money left over with centrebet from the Melbourne Cup last year, so early in the game, I put money on Tim and Jade. I didn't mind losing with Jade as I thought second place was perfect for her.
 
Hi [MENTION=37753]mojo[/MENTION], I don't know about Ed and Boog, they seem like they've developed a friendship and get along well but to me it seems that Ed looks relaxed with her simply because they ARE friends and nothing else, there isn't the pressure of public scrutiny on a 'relationship' . Boog's a friendly girl and I can imagine she'd be fun to be around. There's no way Ed would be involved in another way with Boog while the public are still seeking confirmation on what's happening with Jade. It wouldn't make him look good- that's my opinion anyway.

I'm not the biggest Ed fan (that's probably a slight understatement) and I adore Boog NOW - not so much when she was after Tim - so I can see why a guy would go for her but I really am 99.9% positive they're not dating. We saw them have a few good chats and get along really well while they were in the house when Jade wasn't around so them hanging out now on the outside is no surprise to me at all. They live close to each other (I think even in the same suburb) and are both really social as are their friends so for one of them to add another name to the text msg list when inviting people somewhere or even sharing a ride together to BB related things makes perfect sense. I've said before I think Ed would make a good guy friend - even for me - but I just don't like him with Jade. He gave us glimpses of another side of his personality when she wasn't there, even when he was having fun with Tim and/or Drew, and I really think they brought the worst out in each other especially near the end before he left.

And while Boog made jokes about finding Ed hot, that's not how a girl acts if she's really into a guy. I truly believe they're just good mates and they and their friends enjoy hanging out together. It's not like we're seeing them watching DVDs together at home or even out for dinner one on one. Although platonic guy and girl friends do that stuff too, I could see how that might seem strange to Jade. I don't think Jade and Ed are right for each other and I have zero hope of them working out long term (if they're even together now) but I'm confident Boog wouldn't be the reason why. Just my opinion though obviously. :)

All the Melbourne ones were there other than Tahan and Caleb. I'd be interested to know if they even chatted though other than a cursory hello.
 
thanks for the replies. I can see where you are coming from and they can be just friends. Do not know where him and Jade are going. I take it they will not be seeing each other this weekend as he is going to Adelaide for the cricket and Jade is home back in Ballina on Friday. I also feel that he is not the right guy for her but if they manage to work things out then I wish them well.

What a shame Jade didn't win, you would have collected alot of money at centrebet(she had good odds early on)Well at least you won on Tim.
All your voting have contributed to Jade being the last female standing(no mean feat considering the competition),and she has also gained self confidence in the process.

haha yep! I was thinking back to that conversation with Reaper earlier in the night when we hadn't seen her yet.

I swear my short term memory is starting to go on me. I can remember minute details of the first week of BB for example but things like Tahan being at the party... whoosh. Gonzo.

You are very sweet for saying so but I really am starting to get a bit freaked out. I have posted wayyyyyyyy too many pics and HM updates on this forum but even six months ago I would've sworn to you that my memory was ace... I didn't always remember what I heard but from when I was a little kid, if I saw something or read it, it'd stick like glue. Now it's like there are holes in my brain. I refuse to believe it's from simply getting closer to 40 than 30 so I'm going with your reasoning and if anyone gives me hell for it, I'm going to say Dr Aurora told me I was ok so piss off! :)
 
I think that Ed and Jade are no longer together because they both live in separate cities and seeing each other is something that there is no love between them.

Jade and Ed had not tweet or contact on the phone regularly a lot and I have notice there was a lack of communication between them. They have different lifestyle and does not suit them.

I hope Jade will find a nice man - much nicer than Ed and will help her to settle down her feet on the ground.

No one really knows other than Jade, Ed and their close friends maybe how much contact they have on the phone. Don't take social media stuff as a sign. Not every guy is going to stick up for their girl as Drew has Tully or even be as talkative as Tim. Some people say a lot on social media, some say nothing. It's not like Jade uses it much herself other than to promote stuff she's doing and saying thanks to a few fans.

I agree they have different lifestyles and aren't suited to each other but remember she's very young and her last relationship she was cheated on which can mess you up big time. She doesn't need to run off and get married any time soon and in fact it'd be much better for her career if she didn't so the media could play the is she/isn't she angle with guys with much bigger media profiles than Ed. (Look at what happened to Tahan with Justin Bieber... his fans across the world now know who she is.) Just let her find her way. I suspect the Jade fans in here have loved to watch her grow and will continue to do so whether there's a guy involved or not. It's just one tiny aspect of who she is. :)
