Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

I am at peace with whatever happens. I want her to stay, of course, but if she doesn't she's going to come house having a better knowledge of what she'll be facing. The fact that the stalker narrative has mostly died down and it's a double eviction with less time to spend humiliating her means that her eviction package might be okay.

Mostly I'm in Jade mode...hope for the best, expect the worst!!

One good thing about living on the other side of the world is that I know when I wake up tomorrow morning (Monday) I can just hop on the internet and see who was evicted. It cuts out a lot of the stress when I get to sleep through eight hours of waiting. If I had my wish it'd be Jade, Tim, and Drew in the final 3 as they were the three housemates who kept me interested all summer. My more realistic side knows that it will most likely be Tim and Tahan with either Jade or Drew as the last part of the final three. Whatever happens at least the last few days have been Ed free which has been a vast improvement.

Very true about Ed-free Jade. I would love if it was Jade, Tahan and Boog as the final 3 but I know that's really far fetched. As long as Jade is a part of the final then I will be happy. Hope you wake to good news and we go to sleep knowing Jade is safe in the house.

I went and watched last year's finale, because it had been a while since I had seen an Australian BB finale, and I couldn't remember if I had ever seen a 3 person finale before. It reminded me that it totally sucks to come out 3rd or 2nd because your time is so rushed and the focus is obviously on the winner. If Jade isn't going to win, would it be better for her to come out tonight?

Also, if by some miracle you guys managed to get Jade the win, please tell me that they would send her dad into the house and NOT Ed. Please tell me that BB wouldn't embarrass her at that point!

If Drew wins, do you think they'll send in Tully? Tahan is probably getting her BF, I'm assuming.

Unfortunately I have lost the ability to sleep through the night thanks to Australian BB. It started getting bad when the intruders came in, and, now, with the face-to face nominations, the evictions, and the Halloween stuff, I my cycle is completely out of wack.

Look guys Ed is not that bad especially after something I read in fb he said to a fan I think he really does care for her! I have to Remember bb did heir edits pretty bad which made them look bad

All Jade fans, this is what we've wished and hope for this season. We've got to get her through Monday's eviction,then the win is possible. VOTE JADE FOR THE WIN!!
 
Jade's Dad is here! Woohoo! Looks like he's having heaps of fun seeing all the housemates :)

If Jade gets through tonight I will be SO happy!

Can I just say I'm not thrilled with this pressure on Jade to be different than who she is. I know it's just farting, but, for all the talk about Jade changing to be like Ed, it bothers me that there's this same pressure to act the way THEY act. Why can't she just be Jade? If, at some point, she feels like she WANTS to do it, then she can, but it's this constant idea that you MUST act a certain way or you are "faking" it or something really bothers me.

I know. I can't stand farting in front of people. Even my family, partner and closest friends to be honest. I don't think that means I'm uptight. I just find it embarrassing like a lot of people do.

100% agree. They should just let her be herself. People on another thread are acting like it's some sort of crime that she hasn't.
I honestly wonder what sort of place this is when someone's bodily functions are a matter of psycho-analysis.

Oh, we all must be free with our bodily functions and spew them whenever and wherever we feel. Everyone must be like that so we can all express our individual quirkiness. If you are NOT behaving like the rest of the people then you are just a brainwashed follower.

See the logic? or the lack thereof?

Wow, there's a really nice article regarding someone's interraction with Ed at Dreamworld on Jade supporter's FB page.
I don't know if it's true or not, but if so it looks like Ed's pretty upset about how he and Jade were portrayed and that he's determined to be there for her and protect her from the haters when she gets out.

I was against Ed in the BB house because to me he always came across as so emotionally stunted and it made Jade look bad and caused her to cop a lot of criticism.

If though he does have feelings for her and he truly wants to explore something with her then I'll be glad she has him for support.

It'll be up to them though then which is a good thing.. without everyone else weighing in with their opinions lol.
