Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

Problem is with a character like Boog, she's entertaining and funny to start with, and loud etc, but you usually find that rubs people up the wrong way after a while. Thing is, with her coming in late people are still in the like phase with her. That's why it's dangerous for those who have been in there longer because they are out of that honeymoon type phase already.
 
They are only 3 weeks old so even for not cat people they are pretty irresistible. <3

I have noticed people not post, they are also posting in other places and seem to have gone over to the dark side. ;) (Tahan fans).
I think she still has enough thought to make it a little further.

I think you're right Hughesy17. Boogs is very entertainig compared to the more introverted Jade (who I love regardless:)) and that's what people want...to be entertained. I like to view it from the social experiment angle, to see how people interreact just being themselves (without having to feel the need to entertain the viewing audience) but that's not what most people want to watch sadly. They don't want to watch the quieter, "boring" ones....they want the loud extroverts, and the nastier the better, if the percentages to save certain HMs is anything to go by. Sad really :(
 
Honestly, the loud ones I can only listen to for limited periods. Like when they're all yelling, I can't handle so much noise even in the length of the clips we're shown so if I was actually living there it would drive me nuts.
 
Just saw the live feed (I'm a bit behind) where Boog imitates Tahan calling someone a mole. I don't think we've ever actually heard Tahan call a friend of hers a mole but it sounds like a lot of the housemates have.
 
ive voted 100 times for her this eviction even though she has lost some fans and gained some alot of people have been voting for her multiple times this week

Hahaha that was meant to be 'betting'.. I'm hoping for better results than if I'd had a bet on that.
I don't have limitless amounts to spend on things like voting - family comes first - so stuff like this comes from what I normally set aside as entertainment money anyway :P

Jade's greatest strength is that she is just herself. She can't compete with the outgoing, over the top personalities, she can only be true to who she is and hope that the public sees and understands her.

Well said Jane Doe, I don't get how viewers don't pick up on her beautiful nature. Is being a kind, thoughtful, gentle spirit not valued any more? I have 2 daughters aged 19 & 29 and they have similar personalities to Jades and people love them to pieces. I just don't get why the public dont appreciate that kind of personality. I certainly appreciate her lovely nature and I'm sure her friends and family adore her, she's such a sweetie :)

I think I know who you both mean. He wrote on the LF thread tonight and someone replied to him (a former Jade fan) and called Jade a fool. I was hoping they may have seen the broken English and twigged but maybe they made a fool of themself instead.

Just saw this article from Jade's hometown that interviews her mum as well. She says some interesting things. Like how they used to live in a teepee for a while lol and never had a TV.
