I know who you all are talking about too and I really hope it's not her dad after what was said to him on the LF thread. Imagine having to read all the hate and then get attacked yourself for defending your own daughter. I have a small hope it isn't him. I do remember that poster saying once that he didn't mind JadEd and we know her dad has posted on FB that he hates Ed so it might not be. The writing style and broken English is identical though and we know he knows about this forum so it is a strong possibility.

If you are reading this, Jade's Dad...do not be afraid to keep posting. There are so many people out there who love watching Jade, and it's a credit to her and her family that she's been able to go in there and be completely herself, unlike most of the others who are clearly putting on acts for their image. That takes more guts than anything and you should be extremely proud.

Well I guess you are referring to me and I take offence to this post about me. I have never been directly rude to anyone unless warranted and I don't think I'm making a fool out of myself for stating an opinion just like you have. I've noticed that posters are saying things like how horrible of the things said about jade but to me some are genuinely just opinions and have no malice, and considering I may no longer support jade like I used to, I find it rude that all of a sudden I'm a fool for having a differing opinion. I've read some of you type things about being the minority and not being sheep so feel like you can't say how you feel, so how is this any different? I have an opinion about jade and other hm's, I don't sit here commenting about posters though.

Also I do not believe that is jades dad, they have stated things that jades dad is not in support of. But if there is a chance, then I would of course apologise because I could understand that it would be hard to read things about his daughter. But before you jump the gun, make sure you have proof and not calling me out on something we all do on these boards.

I haven't really been on the LF thread or really had a chance to follow BB since last week so I don't know what has been said. All I know is that mid last week I saw someone make a very personal attack at that poster (read not about Jade but about the poster) and it made me extremely uncomfortable knowing there's even the slightest possibility it might be her father. I'm not sure if it is him either but it left me sick to the stomach with the possibility that it could be.

I understand that Gemini, and the post was not I posted was not about you. I did see your post and read what you were replying to and decided to go back and read some of the posts here to figure it out, it didn't take long either to see who you were referring to. But then I realised I had replied to that person and when I read that comment, I won't lie it affected me more than I would have liked it to. Like I said, if it were really him I would apologise and understand that reading our comments would make them see red and be taken personally.
 
Oh wow, I don't know what happened on LF thread but I do know that [MENTION=35834]Sweet_Geek[/MENTION] is one of those posters who, even if not supporting the same person always respects another's point of view. Everyone's allowed to have different opinions. Your new avatar is hot btw.

My only problem with LF was being jumped on because I felt that Jade was getting criticised for things others were being excused for, and for me there were a few in there that were getting quite aggressive in their posts and it's hard not to take that personally when they start talking about her supporters as well as her. Seemed better yesterday though.

Thanks Insomniac, I didn't comment anything warranting making a fool out of myself. I did say that I thought jade was making a fool out of herself with this ed fiasco, but it was her right to and atleast we are lucky to have a right to act the way we want when women form some middle eastern countries don't have a say at all. Yes I said something not so nice about jade, but it was an opinion and not meant with a cruel intention. I'm sure a lot of people hate this ed fiasco. I think being close to the finals, everyone just seems on edge.

I can see both sides of what happened on the LF. and I am glad that it was cleared yesterday as I feel like some people felt they couldn't post due to all the negativity whilst some felt they couldn't comment on a feed without expressing how they felt. I think it's important to express how one feels to avoid tension, but sometimes you need to out people on the spot also to get a point across and hope that a resolution comes about. And I think in a weird way it helped the LF thread.

Anyways, I'm going to have to take a gulp of cement and harden the heck up.
 
I don't personally think that is her father. If it is though, he's held himself together amazingly. I'd go off like a rocket if someone was saying those things about my child, I couldn't help myself.

You and me both lol.
I get torn between wanting to discuss different opinions and not liking confrontation.
And rightly or wrongly it gets upsetting to read so many comments which are negative against someone you like, no matter what they do, at least that's how it seems at times.

Well said [MENTION=35381]Gemini[/MENTION].There is a slight chance he may not be her dad.However when someone ask him whether he was related to Jade,not only was there no reply but I haven't read any more of his posts in this thread since ,so it does raise some suspicion.
The way he express his opinions,writing style,broken English,is just so similar to his twitter posts.
 
I don't really go in the LF with discussions anymore since about 2 weeks or so ago when I read a post by a former Jade fan making fun and being very nasty about Jade and her fans (and it wasn't you [MENTION=35834]Sweet_Geek[/MENTION]). I'm not trying to start some thing here but I really don't understand people calling her fool or stupid or whatever for liking Ed. I for one do not really like Ed, but I am not about to dislike Jade for liking Ed. I'm sure everyone had people in their lives that like people that they can't stand, doesn't mean you disown them for it. Jade to me haven't change for being with Ed (unlike Drew for example). Just like most people here I like that she just follows her heart. Tim at the moment is getting very consumed by winning the game, he is becoming like Michael last year and that was when he lost the game.

I could go on writing some more about why I like Jade but it takes me forever to compost a post (English is not my first language). And I still haven't figure out how to put an avatar :)
 
I know, I really don't see how Jade being the way she is affects people, unfortunately people forget everyone has been in her situation.
It doesn't help with the amount of footage we've seen but it's obvious that Ed is milking it for all it's worth,
 
Because it's creepy, pathetic and sad. Plenty of guys have acted in the exact same way as Jade has. Difference being when the shoe is on the other foot guys (at least in regards to guys the girl in question deems as beneath her) are quickly called losers and creeps and threats of calling the cops are not far behind if 'unwanted' (a few compliments or quick sideways glances) attention persists. There's nothing endearing or cute about a person who's that unaware of their own creepy behaviour, none whatsoever.

Yeah we have quite clearly seen how you feel about Jade, I've no idea what you're in here.
 
I see it as doing a service of sorts. I feel I'm the lone voice of reason on this topic and it's my duty to bring some balance into the discussion. :cool:
 
I do wonder how people would react to this situation if Jade had below average looks. I feel like she gets away with so much. She seems to have zero self awareness. I respect her fans though for being so forgiving and seeing past all that. Maybe it has a lot to do with her banging body and innocent looking face but whatever it is, the unconditional support is kind of nice.
 
Funny how Tim doesn't get called those names when he has done the same maybe worst. Let see Tim tried it with Lucy and when Lucy criticised his kissing style he moved on to Jade. When Jade clearly told him not to take her in PS he did anyway. And now he supposedly madly in love with Boog. Also few days ago was going on about Maddie. Oh let's not forget the Bindi Irwin thing, who is 15.

Ed and Jade has moved on some people need to do the same.
 
It's got nothing to do with her looks for me, I can empathise with her because I've been like that when I've liked someone.
Granted, Jade's taken it a bit far but in saying that all Ed has to do is say 'Youre freaking me out' and she would at least have to try and back off.
It annoys me how people just judge and expect her to snap out of it when they don't take into account Ed's enabling and the environment they're in.
She isn't sitting there viewing the footage like we do, when you are really into someone you don't see the signs you cling into the ones that are positive to your cause.
And Ed does her no favours by just treating her how he likes, he's taking advantage of her and its going to ruin her self esteem even more.

I believe her infatuation with Ed is more to do with her view of herself and her past rather than Ed actually being the one for her.
She has very low self esteem and clings to someone that she gets it from, it's not the right way to be but she's like 22 and has a lot to learn about life.
Add to that if you take away Ed she's actually quite an objective and intelligent person.

Plenty of people including me have called Tim creepy. Taking Jade to the PS when she didn't want to go is taking it a bit too far. But he moved on very quickly and myself and most people forgot he was ever creepy. Not sure how I feel about this Boog thing but he has a sense of humour about it, he's not hopping in her single bed when she's sleeping (ahem) so I don't really see the problem.

Jade has nearly day in, day out been making the first moves, and talking about things she shouldn't be. That's difference with Jade and Tim.

And the BIindi Irwin thing..I think if he meant it in a sinister, creepy way..if he genuinely wanted to shag a 15 year old he would never bring her up, he'd be secretive about it. Tim's not an idiot.

I would never have guessed that English wasn't your first language.
For an avatar you go to settings and then 'edit avatar' then you can choose a picture.

I've been here for a long time (since I was a teen) and even with 2 degrees I still find it hard, it just doesn't come naturally. I still get my tenses and plural/singular all mixed up (we don't use it in our grammar, I don't even know how to explain it). I really have to take my time but I also get really lazy proof reading. lol
Anyway, thanks for that I was looking in the wrong place yesterday.
