Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

Heidi on live feeds said to Tim that Jade and the sugars sisters can't win this show.Incidentally Tim backed Jade up. So i'm hoping Jade or the sugar sisters may have won the games and swapped Mik possibly? A long shot but here's hoping that Jade isn't up. Someone on the live feed thread did say that one of final three girls in the games was the sugar sisters.
 
Alex Mavroidakis just replied to someone on twitter that he is currently sifting for potential new sexy intruders who are looking for love and guess what FOR Jade!!!!! OMG I THINK I JUST DIED. I'VE BEEN TRYING TO ASK THIS QUESTION FOR AGES BUT WITH NO RESPONSE - finally he answers somebody! Hallelujah!

Jade's popularity has soared of late. I think it would be a disaster to try to get her sniffing around another man. She would be the mockery of the house. By all means bring in a stunning brunette for Ed to fall for or even someone for Tim or Ben but to force another man hunt on to jade would ruin her.

No I don't think this would be the case because currently people only laugh and make a mockery of Jade because she tries so hard with Ed and he doesn't exchange any of the feelings back to her because he 'doesn't want to get involved in a relationship inside the BB house' - so it basically makes Jade look like the desperate girl who keeps on trying and trying. If someone actually shows feelings back to her then I think it will be different because the feelings are the same. People would be happier seeing Jade with someone else and not Ed because he is becoming really unlikeable as of late by the public. BB needs a PROPER romance and I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT THE FILTHY RELATIONSHIP THAT IS DRULLY!

I agree with this. She's been growing and developing so much, it would be a shame to reduce to one half of a showmance again.

Also, disheartened by so many people lashing out about her Drew comments. I genuinely believe she was talking as far as a friendship. Once they stopped the Drade charade, yes she did go after Ed romantically, but she didn't stop spending time with Drew and being his friend and having his back. She just broadened her wings and started trying to connect with other housemates as well (on friendship level as well as romance with Ed) as it had been hard for them both to make friends while having to watch everything they say. Drew obviously had been smitten with her, but rather than maintain friendship he through everything (and more) into Tully and I think HE is the one who dropped Jade as a friend, and turned his back on her. He's turned out to be such a disappointment, which is a shame because he was my favourite to begin with. And I really hate that Jade is the one getting all the flack for their friendship ending, when all she took away is the romantic aspect, and he turned on her completely.

I despise the "Drully" crapola. COME ON DREW!! WTF are you thinking?If he continues with this Sully it will be his demise.

I agree. I think her strengths are magnified when she is being herself without a love interest. I would love to see Jade learn more about how cool it can be to just be Jade. I would like to see her build confidence in herself of her own doing and not because of the support of some guy.
 
Heidi is an awful person. She is also an idiot! She doesn't even realise it, but the more she bitches about jade the more she looks ridiculous. Actually she is making jade even more poplar, so hopefully she will keep going with jade jade jade jade... I still don't understand the hate
 
Let's be honest here, just because they throw in an intruder for Jade it doesn't mean she'll go for him. They obviously had Drew planned for Jade at the start but she went for Ed instead despite the fact that she and Drew had more chemistry. They'll probably chuck in this guy and her eyes won't sway from Ed. She's fixated on him for some unknown reason.
 
This is why I adore Tim. He likes jade because she gets him and vice versa. She is non judgemental and sees the good in him, which he appreciates I'm sure. I loved reading the part where he said jade is like the friends he has outside.

I have a feeling her ex broke her heart that she goes for the opposite of him. Ed makes himself seem like this Prince Charming and unfortunately most of the woman are blinded by this not just jade. Jade just had the guts to go after what she thinks she wants :( I hope she truly finds someone who deserves her. She honestly would make an amazing partner I think.

They will trample on you and make you into something you are not to benefit themselves with their oh so powerful voice. But it takes a persons true strength and pure goodness to not fall prey to that behaviour and still carry on and be themselves.

I think Jade's self awareness and her sense of humour is what carries her through in my eyes. I genuinely felt sorry for her tonight when she was talking to Ben, how she's distant with her family (like me) and felt like she was losing Drew. I have a few similarities with her that she's said over the show, I hope she stays in for a while longer.

Absolutely agree. And another thing I've noticed is that Jade is pretty much the only housemate that actually talks to Ben and not down to him. That just makes me like her even more.

Same. I loved their little moment. They shared a bed before and they interact and have a nice little friendship going. Jade was so lovely comforting him and I love that Ben supports her too. He never says anything bad about anyone either. They have quite a few things in common, haha.
