Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

Jade looked sexy as the 'villain' - she rocked that costume. GO JADE!
Officially over Ed and definitely Drew tonight! True colours have shone right through, Ed nothing but a manipulative and using douchebag while Drew is just as bad if not worse for being with Tully 24/7.
It makes me so happy to see the Jade fan base grow and see that more people are changing their perceptions of her and realising she really does bring more to the show than good looks and does have a good heart. It's almost as it the roles have been reversed!!!
Drew, Tully, Heidi and would've been Ed had brain dead Matt not saved him up for eviction. I'm very pleased by this result. Tim and Mikkayla are basically guaranteed safe so this 'alliance' of bitches and users is going to get their asses handed to them. 100% guarantee if the dumb ugly bitch Jazz - such an animal, was here she would be in it, thanks heavens that brick got evicted! KARMA IS A BITCH!
I'm nervous for Thursday though, I'm hoping that Tim or Mikkayla win and then seeing the trouble and anger unfold. I would want Jade to win but a have a feeling she'll be too friendly and kind and save one of the backstabbers who she thinks is her friend.
Very satisfied currently and I forgot to mention but I loved seeing Jade stand up for herself against Jazz's comments - she is getting stronger and more confident by the day!

OMG the arrogance of that bush pig tonight thinking that she is more popular than jade on the outside. if she or any of her other minions win showdown i'm gonna be so pissed. at least (if not both) tully or heidi HAVE to be up for eviction this week even if one of them is saved.

Make a big deal out of this - IDC, I didn't come to this thread here to talk about my racist comment or have to provide any explanation for why I said it but I came here to support Jade. So hate all you want, make another thread about it if you mind so much but don't start some sort of feud on this thread. I knew one person would've picked up on it anyway though :P

He really is the worst! He has no loyalty to Jade at all. He's made his bed now, let him lie in it. Jade will go on to bigger and better.

Ed has never not been the most popular guy, and he simply cannot handle it, but has no idea what to do. At the barbeque Tim and Heidi discussed being outshone, and a few weeks later Tim swung things. Ed has no idea how to do this. He is popular because for some reason people swoon at him and make explanations to fill the silence of stupidity. He can do nothing else.

It is like poor Jade. She has never had to seduce someone, clearly. In the past, I bet she just had to say yes or no.

Drew has spoilt his chances with his infatuation. Jade will only get stronger if she outgrows Ed.
 
Something I've learnt in life... There are always going to be people who are loud and even louder. They will trample on you and make you into something you are not to benefit themselves with their oh so powerful voice. But it takes a persons true strength and pure goodness to not fall prey to that behaviour and still carry on and be themselves.

Jade has managed to stay humble through and through in my opinion. Yes she has faults and she herself is well aware of this, but this is what makes her relatable and also likeable. Others tried to bring her down with their opinions and yet jade did not succumb to their behaviour and remained the more quieter one. She will genuinely trust and to me that is a good thing, because she truly believes people are good and this shows us viewers that she does not carry bitterness or jealousy in her heart.

Yeah, I was dubious with Jades actions early on (I do think she was stringing Drew on a bit) but ultimately I am gaining more and more respect for her and Im enjoying watching her gain a stronger position in the house as an independent person (versus a 'trying to hook up with Ed' person).

I was never overly caring about Drade (I.e. them getting together) but I really did think they had a close friendship building and having watched Drew laugh behind her back and other things and never give her a word of advice has been horrible. And then Tully pretending they are great buddies and then running and bragging to the others about how she sucked Jade in really made me mad. I feel like Jade has been bullied a bit and is coming out looking a stronger and better person for the way she handles herself now.

Welcome Sweet_Geek and what a great analysis!! I love that Jade is comfortable sitting back and not trying to pull a Ben ie constantly talking about how he needs to put himself out there more, etc. I've admitted on here before that I had been quick to judge her based on my own female bs which I'm not proud of and had also been frustrated with her chasing after Ed. But then we saw how HMs were planting a lot of that into her mind for their own gain and Ed continuing to lead her on so I couldn't fully blame her for that anymore. And as much as I normally hate Surly and any BB interference with the game, I am so happy the producers stepped in to help her out. Maybe they've developed a soft spot for her too? Her and Mikkayla are by far my favourite women in the house now.

I think Jade has a gentle soul and is in the stages of discovering herself and her self worth.
[MENTION=34873]Chump[/MENTION], I am liking the stronger jade coming out. I am hoping she sees that she is more than just the body, and slowly I believe she is seeing that. Jade is a easy target for people like tully. But that's ok, as tully is one of those loud people, but eventually when there is way too much noise, people stop listening after awhile. Proof? Last nights late BB, even Matt respected jades response to financial security question. Maybe she is quiet, but when she speaks and people hear this side to jade they will see the good side, not the one that tully/Heidi try makeup.
[MENTION=35181]Mrs Butterface[/MENTION], I would be lying if I didn't say jade didn't annoy me at the beginning too. It wasn't after her ex confession I really understood her to be honest. I guess I can relate. But last week was the final straw for me... Just unnecessary bullying in my opinion. Glad surly got involved though, I think jade needed to reflect on herself. Sometimes you need someone to point things out to you and it wasn't like anyone in the house was going to point it out to her. Your right though, I think they may have a soft spot for jade. They obviously would have done background checks and know her more so than we do, so perhaps they too think the hate she is receiving is undeserving.
