Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

You're like a girl with posts honestly, you throw a tantrum because I call you out.
Ed and Drew made their own bed without Jade, people disliked the two way before Ed was a dumbass with the nominations and Drew nominated her (and they are supposed to be mates, everyone was pissed about that not just Jade fans).

Ed targets the same people at nomination time, uses his body whenever he can, is generally a total bore.
And Drew is with Tully and is for all intents and purposes a 'homewrecker'.

They deserve all the criticism they get, not sure why you would defend them.

I rest my case. I don't recall ever seeing you respond kindly to people accusing your opinions of a housemate as nothing more than 'trolls'. People that do it tend to do it because they have nothing else to counter the argument presented.


To quote the little kid from that the sixth sense:

"They only see what they want to see".

That sums the quoted poster to a T.

As far as jade is concerned she's brought all of it on herself. She's basically put a neon side on her head and let every boy within a mile of her to "use me", to their credit they have obliged willingly. I can't for the life me hold that against them for doing exactly that.

This is an appreciation thread but it would be boring if everyone had the same opinion. this is a forum after all..and opinions should be expressed, no matter the thread name.

Well, there's an Anti-Jade thread for that purpose. I would show some respect with other housemates appreciation threads and keep hate-comments out of them and would think other people would do the same. Common sense says that. That's MY opinion which I have a right to express after all..

i don't think i've seen any hate comments in here. but we'll agree to disagree.

Jade is making herself an easy target for sure. I think she puts too much value on Ed and he isn't feeling the same way. She realises that he probably doesn't like her yet keeps accepting kisses from him when he's drunk (or sober yesterday, for once). I don't think its unusual to take affection from someone in that situation even if you think its going nowhere. If it were the outside world i'd feel very strangely about it. But at the end of the day they're single and I don't really have anything against it.

Ed has only really bugged me because he says 'nothing will happen' yet is willing to sleep in her bed, kiss her on occasion etc. I think he'd be better off if he was there thinking 'its just a bit of fun, some comfort' because that's easily all it could be.

Anyway, I don't want to argue with you or others on these forums so I'm just trying to explain myself with this. I'm happy to discuss. I don't hold Jade on a pedastal but she is my favourite because I try and look past most of this and understand why she's doing it in the first place.
 
Well apparently they had a big talk yesterday, and if they are both on the same page with how things are, and are both happy with that, then what's the problem? On either side..
My problem was when Ed wasn't expressing himself properly, but if he has and they both want some affection inside the house who cares?

Yeah this exactly. Jade said they never spoke so maybe that's where the problem was.

For sure, everyone thinks differently. I think it's more certain posters I see that all they have is negative comments and after a while it just becomes old to me.

Yeah I think he must have, had barely heard beep out of him with regards to Jade until she started getting a solid following.

I'm so bummed as well. I really want him gone, so Jade can get on with other things other than Prince Charming. Argh. I really fear it is going to be the sisters (jades friends) or Matt ( a great support to many in the house this week including jade) that go.

Me too. I've actually stopped voting for Mikkalya so I can spend some more money voting for the sisters and Matt instead. It won't make a difference though unfortunately. I wish there was still vote to evict. I know if they showed the footage tonight before the lines closed of Tim saying he was going to kiss Jade if Ed left people would be voting like mad to get Ed out just for the amusement factor.
 
Well, Ed stayed in Jade's bed last night. Repeat: Ed stayed in JADE'S bed and not the other way around. So there's yet another blow to those who claim she has no reason to think there's something between them.

I really really really hope he's gone tonight. I'd so much rather her be alone or even with Tim than have Ed around at this point.
 
So Ed slept in Jade's bed last night. Seems like their chat in the morning and last night must have gone really well. Would love to know what understanding they've come to per his chat with Matt this morning. I actually think it's a good move on Ed's part if he wants to stay in the house but without a Sunday night show, I think it's too little, too late.

Totally agree with your first paragraph. I was surprised that people were debating this so furiously last night even after their morning chat, pash and night cosying up together on the sun lounges.
