Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

Off topic, but I love how you can't have a discussion on another HM on this board without someone bringing up Jade or this thread as a counter argument against you.

That's not against anyone in particular, but it's happened to me on the other thread about 4 times now. Am I not allowed to post in the other thread or about the other HMs? Sometimes I kinda feel like people see us visitors on this board. It's frustrating because I always try to be respectful and not be too biased, but that's hard to do when it feels like people intentionally bring up your support of Jade like it's supposed to be some negative against you.

I got called FIFO visitor over there few days ago. Some are very negative against Jade and when you question them they bite your head off. Pretty much got told to get lost. They are over the top intense. Even the creator of that thread got blasted when she questioned why they change the name of the thread. It just reminds me of the LF in the last month of BB, some are the same people.

I sure like it here we have a good balance of speculation (with nice detective work by [MENTION=32689]hawke[/MENTION] and [MENTION=30743]hughesy17[/MENTION]), in depth analysis in particular by people like you and [MENTION=36695]Jane Doe[/MENTION] and good fun (sometimes dirty) banter/joking around with [MENTION=31088]Insomniac[/MENTION] and others.
We go over the top sometimes but we tend to get back to that good balance pretty quickly.

This is also good opportunity to thank [MENTION=31440]gallagher[/MENTION] for finding and posting those great photos of Jade in world record time and [MENTION=33321]delcan[/MENTION] who's visit is always welcome because she always post something that we might have missed.

Thanks for the mention @Drade, I find all the Jade Fan posters are respectful of each other and are happy to share each others thoughts and opinions, by accepting the different angles that we perceive a situation.

It's kind of like the two sides division in the house. There are posters who I interacted with in several different threads throughout the season, and who's posts and points of view I could respect, even if I didn't necessarily agree with them all the time. But now I read some of the same poster's stuff in the other thread and just think 'WTF??'

So many times I have started to word up a reply over there, and ended up cancelling it because instead of it being a discussion I just know it would be misinterpreted and a fight would start. And fights over there get mean.

And I would really like to point out in that thread (because I am pedantic and anal) that Tahan's tweet that was posted over there about Tim's 'self-portrait' of her is wrong. A self-portrait is one you do of yourself. If it is done of you by someone else it is a portrait - but I'm just not going to go there because I would eaten alive

Some of them seem argumentative for the sake of being argumentative like they'll put their 2 cents in with something that really has nothing to do with them in an aggressive fashion.
Sad indeed.
