Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

Just on Jade and Ed, sadly they are both about to head back to reality. This is where it is going to get tough.

Ed has a career already in Melbourne and Jade will hopefully have all sorts of offers to sift through. I hope Jade really gives her career priority and makes the most out of it while she can.

I was glad to see Ed and Jade do exactly what they said they were going to do in the house, spend sometime together in the real world and have a "talk". They look pretty happy, well Jade certainly does, but it will get tougher because they are likely to be apart a lot.

I hope they both get whatever they want from life.

That's not against anyone in particular, but it's happened to me on the other thread about 4 times now. Am I not allowed to post in the other thread or about the other HMs? Sometimes I kinda feel like people see us visitors on this board. It's frustrating because I always try to be respectful and not be too biased, but that's hard to do when it feels like people intentionally bring up your support of Jade like it's supposed to be some negative against you.

Sorry. Rant over. Continue :P

It's frustrating I agree. Especially when you know you've been participating in all sorts of threads and not only this one, so really shouldn't be treated like you're commenting on 'their' thread.
I think sometimes people also look at things written from the perspective of "Jade fan" and are quite closed towards opinions even when they're not concerning Jade. It's a shame really, because I feel I could have some quite in-depth discussions about a variety of topics in there but mostly now I just stay quiet and have stayed away from people I once enjoyed talking to because I seem to get misinterpreted. Just like they feel they have to watch what they say regarding Jade, I feel I have to as well so I can see where you're coming from.

We're all members of the same forums - no-one owns a particular thread, or has the right to make others feel unwelcome. I read the other thread all the time, and have read your posts there so understand what you are saying, but rarely post ther. It is just too much hard work, and I feel like my comments won't be taken at face value, but will be related back to the fact that I support Jade. It gets pretty feral. I like to read the updates about some of the others, which is why I read that thread, but - meh..it's just not worth the aggro to try to join in.

Thanks. I'm happy I'm not going crazy. I never bring Jade up in that thread. I figure if there's something I want to say regarding her here is the better place to do so anyway. Also I never bring her into discussions unless I read something I strongly disagree with (i.e. the people saying she's unhealthy), but then again I would have reacted like that if they had have said it about any of the HMs.

So I don't see why Jade or our support for her should be brought up consistently as a way to devalue our opinions. I think the majority of the Jade supporters that post here are pretty respectful and are open for discussion, so it's sad to see such an unwelcoming attitude.

I'm thinking she'll drop Ed off at Coolongatta airport on her way back to Ballina or possibly Ballina airport. Not sure what happened to her Sydney plans but she's going to be in Sydney on Sunday for the ARIA's

I am pretty sure we will get another latest updates from Ed or Jade's twitter account later today.

I hate the separation between Ed and Jade - hopefully they will work it out with their relationship for time being.
 
Just read few rants about the other threads and I cant fathom why you guys even care about their opinions.I for one , don't even bother venturing out to anywhere but here. I don't have the time to even bother going anywhere else. If it wasn't for Jade and the unhealthy interest I've developed on anything and everything she does, I wouldn't even bothered opening up this website. My usual active interest in BB and HG ( HMs as you Aussies refer to them) usually dies as soon as the finale is broadcasted. But I am addicted to JadED. ADDICTED!!!!
